accidents from our little adventure. My scraped leg is slowly healing. it’s been a long time since I’ve had even a skinned knee. I forgot how much it hurts. I may possible be too old for this foolishness.
I’m happy to be back home. Heading out to my writing room
yesterday I was truly cheered to see my ‘writing light’. I borrowed this phrase from my daughter, who used to talk about how much she loved ‘summer
light’. She was talking about the way sunlight pours into our living room
during the late morning in the summers. During the school year, of course,
we’re not here during that time of day. For her it was just a good memory of
childhood summer vacations.
My writing room is a bright sunny room. During the school
year, I mostly get to write in the late afternoon and early evening, but during
the summer I hit the room early. I have a beautiful crystal, beveled edged star
hanging in one window and this caused rainbow light to dance around the room in the
morning. Seeing this light – my summer ‘writing’ light just makes me happy. I’m
heading out there now to take advantage.
Sounds like the perfect time and setting for you and Cassie to chat PK :) I hope your injuries heal quickly.

I love watching the rainbows from crystals...I used to have a hole bunch - I wonder where they are.... Heal soon so you can rest easy as you write...
ReplyDeletePK,
ReplyDeletewhat a nice thought, I have hanging crystals in my bedroom, when I take my nap there are rainbows dancing on the ceiling.
Have a great Independence Day.

Paul.
