Saturday Spankings - February 22

I’m glad to be back at Saturday Spankings today for our eight sentence snippets (I’m a little over, but some are very short). Today’s snippet is from the second Cassie book, Cassie’s Tale. Although Cassie’s close friend Sue has never approved of Tom spanking Cassie, she was intrigued as Cassie began talking more about the fun, sexy side of spanking. She and her husband Steve begin a little experimenting. After a suggestion from Sue that got Cassie in trouble one evening, Sue apologizes to Tom for what happened. A stunned Cassie tries to figure out what’s going on, Sue never apologies. Cassie pulls Sue into the hall for a conversation.

I kept staring at her until she finally looked away. As I kept staring, she rubbed her butt without thinking about it and I knew.
“He spanked your butt! I can’t believe it. Admit it! Steve wore you out last night.” I loved it! I laughed out loud at her discomfort, both mental and physical.
We were about half way down the hall, and Sue grabbed me and hauled me the rest of the way. “Shut up!” she hissed at me. “He did not. He was just playing. Oh hell, this is all Tom’s fault. Steve never acts this way unless he has been talking to Tom.” Sue was angry, but I couldn’t stop laughing.
Sue turned and stalked away from me. She whirled around at the end of the hall and flipped me the bird. It had turned into a wonderful day and I couldn’t remember news that had made me any happier.

Read Cassie’sSpace or Cassie’s Tale to learn more about Cassie, Tom and the whole gang.

Cassie continues to live life to the fullest, from wheeling around in her new sports car to mastering the art of riding a motor scooter with no hands, she manages to keep Tom on his toes. The fly in the ointment is that Tom’s firm wants him back for a project and Cassie wants him all to herself.  When Tom takes the job, Cassie is left lonely and bored – never a good combination for her.
Left to her own devices Cassie makes some poor decisions, frightening Sue and causing Tom to lower the boom. Tom's new schedule for Cassie, including her getting a job, leaves her little time to get herself in trouble – yet she still manages.

Meet Cassie, a former wild child, who meets her match, and creates the match of a lifetime. To nearly all who know her now, Cassie is a vivacious, sweet southern lady, who is the epitome of grace and proper behavior. Look a tiny bit closer and you’ll see that Cassie has another side – the one whose language could make a sailor blush as she drinks him under the table.
Thanks to her loving husband Tom, who even after thirty years of marriage, never hesitates to put Cassie over his knee when she strays too far from his view of ladylike behavior, few people other than close old friends know this side of Cassie exists.
Cassie and Tom show that love and passion are not the sole property of the young. Love and passion grows and changes with age. While aging may bring on challenges – the love and passion between these two people only grows stronger.

Tell me… how many books have I sold?

This is my second Tell me Tuesday. I have a many questions and I’m going ask them and hope they aren't stupid.

I’m wondering today if anyone can tell me how to find out how many books I’ve sold? I know about Novel Rank. But isn’t that only for Amazon?  I’m not really sure where all my books are being sold. I know they’re sold at Barnes and Noble, but I don’t how many have been sold there. I have total confidence in my publisher, but it this day of instant information shouldn’t it be easy to get this information? Also is Novel Rank pretty accurate? I ask my publisher how many I’d sold the first couple of day and it was more than Novel Rank said, so does it catch up within a few days or is it always a little behind?

If anyone is willing to help answer this for me I’d be grateful.

Saturday Spankings - February 15, 2014

There’s real need for warmth out here this week, we need something that will melt this snow. Maybe some hot snippets will do the trick. In today’s snippet, Cassie and Tom are flying to California on a luxurious private jet, which Cassie describes as more like a flying apartment.  The plane had been provided by the company that want’s Tom to come work for them. Although they had joined the mile high club years ago, Cassie wants to ‘renew’ their membership.

“Please, honey, we have hours before we land,” I begged.

“Cassie, we’re guests on a flight, it wouldn’t be appropriate and what about the crew?”
Never one to be dissuaded, I told him, “Let them find their own good time, I’m not looking for a threesome.”
Goodness, making love on a plane was exciting, a little turbulence at the right time added to the thrill. We enjoyed a most romantic encounter, but as I began to dress, Tom pulled me across his lap.
“It seems to me like you are becoming a little too demanding and bossy for your own good, young lady. I think you need a little reminder of who’s supposed to be in charge around here.”

I had to laugh. Tom could come up with a million reasons to spank. I loved the man’s creativity, but personally, I think he was just annoyed he hadn’t thought of it first.

Tell me … Who are you?

I want to try blogging here more. I find that more than anything else I have questions. I think I’m going to try something new. I’m going to post something I’m going to call, “Tell me Tuesdays”. I have questions about writing, editing, promoting – actually there’s not much I don’t have questions about.

The first questions I have are about all of you. I feel like I got here late, there are so many good writers.  Everyone has been friendly and I’ve gotten to know some of you, but honestly I’m still pretty confused. On FB, someone will post something or leave a comment and I’m wondering, ‘Is she the one with young kids or is she a grandmother?’ Another time I’ll be wondering, ‘Is she from Europe, the US or Australia’.  I hate feeling lost all the time.

I’m hoping that some of you would be willing to leave a few answers here in comment, and tell me about yourself. I don’t mean to pry, but whatever you feel comfortable telling I’d be most grateful, I just want to feel like I know who I’m talking to.

Here’s my information. I’m PK Corey, I’m fifty-seven and I live in the southern US. I’m married with a husband who spanks mostly for fun. I have two grown children. I’ve blogged for almost eight years and I write the Cassie books.

Now, I don’t feel like I’ve led you to my door, but maybe you get the idea. I hope some of you will stop by. Surely I can’t be the only one out here that’s confused.

Saturday Spankings, February 8, 2014

What a wonderful Saturday! My thanks to Mistress Blake and Love Spanks, for allowing us to post longer snippets this week. The timing was perfect; Cassie’s Tale was released just this past Wednesday. It's another cold weekend - a great time to get in some reading.
Today’s snippet follows an incident where Cassie, thought she would be quick to tell you she didn't do anything really wrong,  frightened Tom badly. Regardless, her activities and freedom had been severely curtailed since and she is rapidly coming to the end of her patience.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew I needed to calm down and listen to Tom. I could tell he was nearly at the end of his patience, too. Yes, that might have been the best choice, but it wasn’t my choice.
I chose to throw my book across the room as hard as I could. “You made me look like a damn fool!” I shouted at Tom.
I knew even at the time it was a mistake, but it had just been such a horrible day and I had sat there seething for most of it.
Believe it or not Tom didn’t take well to my cursing and throwing things. He didn’t even sit down; he just tucked me under his arm and sailed into my rear. Tom doesn’t usually spank when he's really angry, but he doesn’t mind giving me a sample.
My bottom was stinging after only a few swats and, leading me to the bedroom door, he told me firmly, “I’ve had enough. Get up on that bed and don’t you move.” Tom needed time to calm down. Evidently completely calming down would take him quite a while.
He left me alone for a long time. Way too long, I thought. I had spent the day just being mad, but sitting there waiting on him, gave me the time to realize that a big part of my anger came from guilt.
Since the incident, when I’d scared him and Sue so badly, Tom had been on me like a duck on a June bug. I’ve lived with his over the top restriction and he seemed to be spanking for one thing or another ever since it happened, but things still weren’t resolved in my mind. I felt weighed down by guilt.
I can’t stand feeling guilty; it is absolutely the worse feeling for me. If Tom were to find out I had stolen a car and robbed a bank, the first thing I would probably say is, “Well it’s your fault, you wouldn’t give me my keys and I didn’t have any money!” Guilt was horrible. There was only one thing that cleared guilt from my mind. Sadly, I knew what would do it.
However, knowing what I needed didn’t mean I could ask for it. I never asked for any type of spanking except maybe a good girl. Even with the guilt I felt, I just couldn’t bring myself to ask him to take care of it.
Sitting there on the bed waiting for Tom, I began to feel worse and worse, and the tears had begun before Tom came into the room.
“What is it, girl?” he asked when he saw my tears. I believe Tom knew me better than I knew myself in some ways. He knew at once these tears and the emotions behind them had nothing to do with the fact I was about to be spanked.
He sat on the bed and put his arms around me. “Tell me,” he said quietly.
I blurted out most of what I had running through my mind, my sorrow – my sincere sorrow for all that had transpired that night.
“Cassie, we’re done with that – I think I’ve spanked you more than enough since then for you to let it go.”
“But it’s not over,” I wailed. “You’re still mad at me. You still don’t trust me.”
“I’m not mad and I do trust you – but yes, I still worry.” He hugged me tightly against him. “Honey, do you think we still have more to take care of before you feel right?”
I slowly nodded into his chest. I guess that’s as close as I could come to asking.
“All right then,” he said quietly. He stood and helped me up, too. I momentarily panicked. What had I done?
“Wait, Tom, I’ll be okay, really, I...”

“Hush girl. You’re not in charge. I am.”
Tom began unbuckling his belt. He seemed to be doing it slowly, or else whenever he touched his belt the world just seems to go into slow motion for me. A small shudder ran through me as he pulled it through the loops. I don’t hate Tom’s belt; my feeling about it are very complicated. As an implement for punishment, it can be frightening, yet at other times it’s sensual and there are times it can be both.
Using only his eyes, Tom indicated for me to lie across the bed. I did as he directed. The ivory brush makes me want to fight or flee, but seeing the belt double in his hand turns me into a true submissive for the duration. Tom flipped up my skirt, and I caught my breath as he slowly pulled my panties down and out of his way.
My eyes squeezed tightly closed as Tom ran his hand over my exposed bottom. “Open your eyes,” he directed me.
I did, only to see the belt lying there beside me. It seemed like a living thing. Placing his left hand on the small of my back, Tom began warming me up with his hand. Over and over he spanked while my gaze never left the belt. Only when he reached for it did my eyes close of their own accord.

You can read ‘the rest of the story’ in Cassie’s Tale. If you’d like to know more about Cassie and Tom, including how they met you can find that in Cassie’s Space. Both books can be found at Amazon, Barns and Noble …

Dance Partners, by Donna Steele - a great read

Today is the official release day for DancePartners, by Donna Steele. Even though Donna doesn’t write about spanking (I’m working on her) I love her books. Her women are strong and her men have depth and strong character. I hope you’ll download Dance Partners to your TBR list.

Burb -

Jim is back home and existing, but nothing more. The irony of going to a dance club isn’t lost on him. The redhead moving around the floor is the last thing he needs in his life. So what if he can’t take his eyes off her.

It’s been a great day for Wendy, and dancing is her favorite way to celebrate. The hunk’s eyes are on her, but he doesn’t approach. Intrigued she approaches him and learns a lot more about herself than she planned.

 Excerpt:
The stairs to her apartment were inside and free of impediments. She went on up and had the door unlocked, but didn’t entered until he was beside her. She noted he wasn’t in the least winded and almost seemed pleased with himself to which she made no comment.  She just went on into the apartment.
“That smells good. When did you cook?”
“I cheated. I didn’t want to have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping so I used the crockpot. We’re having pot roast and vegetables. If I did it right, it should be ready.”
“It smells like you did it right.”
It was nice to receive a compliment. “Take a seat. I’ve already set the table. I have tea, juice, soft drinks and sparkling water.”
“Did you do that for me?”
“Partially, but I usually have that stuff around.”
“Tea would be great.”
****
Jim couldn’t take his eyes off her. She looked so at home and efficient as she served their dinner. He liked her place, too. It made him think of her. The walls were pastel, a light green, but she’d brought in splashes of color with the artwork and pillows.
He hadn’t thought about how drab his room at the home was. There was a photograph of a flag someone before him had pinned up, but it was faded now. He had a navy cover on his bed. The chair at the desk had no cushion. He had no photos displayed. In fact, everything he owned was either in storage or had been left at his mother’s trailer which meant it had probably been thrown out.
Wendy’s place felt nice.

Buy it now on Amazon.
