Saturday Spankings - Different strokes for different folks

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. For now I’m taking snippets from my second book, Cassie’s Tale. Months earlier Cassie and her friends made a trip to the ‘adult’ toy store. At the time Cassie was surprised that both Sue and Annie had brought leather paddles, since they had told her she was nuts for letting Tom ‘hit’ her. Now Cassie finally had the chance to find out exactly how the girls were using those paddles.

I was speaking low and the girls leaned forward conspiratorially. “You two haven’t said anything yet, so I’m going to be nosey enough to ask. Just what has become of the paddles you all bought?” Annie blushed immediately and Sue looked a bit uncomfortable herself. Beth took off in gales of laughter, while Maggie demanded to know what it the world was going on. I let Beth explain.

“Okay, you know that Tom… well, sometimes when Cassie…” She paused, flustered.

“Oh hell, spit it out,” I snapped. “Tom sometimes spanks me, as I’m sure you fully well know. It’s only the worst kept secret in our circle our friends. But apparently, I’m not the only one.” I looked back at the girls who still remained silent, and Beth took up the story.

“Back this past summer the four of us went to a sex shop,” Beth told her as I laughed and sipped my drink. I saw Maggie’s eyes widen. “And these three nuts bought leather paddles.”

“Paddles!” Maggie squealed. “Why on earth?”

“I haven’t a clue,” Beth admitted, turning back to Sue and Annie. “Well, answer Cassie’s question. Do y’all use them?”

“We sometimes…” Sue stopped. “I mean if Steve’s feeling a little frisky. It’s just for fun,” She insisted. “It’s not like that big bully, Tom. It’s not like he’s ‘punishing’ me or anything like that. It’s just… well, it does turn me on a little.” She gulped her way through her explanation.

I joined the laughter. It was what I expected. I knew Steve would never use it for discipline. For one thing, Sue would probably rip his arm off if he tried. For another, if Steve ever decided to disciplineSue, provided he lived through it, he wouldn’t have time for anything else. Sue got away with murder, cussing, yelling at Steve, and never listening to a thing he said. Goodness, if I behaved as she did, I’d never sit again.

We all hooted and laughed at Sue for a while. Beth, and Maggie in particular, were aghast that she would be willing to allow such a thing, even just as foreplay. “Aww, hell. Our sex life is way better, you oughta try it.”

Annie was wonderful at staying quiet and blending back into the shadows, which is exactly what she was trying to do. However, I wouldn’t let her off that easy. “All right, let’s hear it. When does yours come out?”

Again, Annie blushed. “Sue’s right. It does spice up your love life. We probably use ours at least twice a week.” I stared in shock. Annie always seemed so delicate.

“Twice a week? How long did it take your butt to toughen up for that?” I had to know.

“Well…” she answered quietly, “he doesn’t actually hit me with it.”

My mind went into total shock. A Domme? Annie a Domme? I only knew the term from my blogging friends. A Domme was a woman who wielded the paddle. I think my mind boggled. Not Annie! And Andy? I’d known him forever. It just couldn’t be. Sue and I were screaming with near hysterical laughter.

“You spank Andy?” Sue gasped, trying to get her breath.

Annie was stammering, saying, “No, no, no! It’s not like that. But well, um, he doesn’t actually hit me. He hits the bed beside me.”

What?

“What’s the matter, honey?” I managed to gasp out between bouts of laughter. “Is his aim bad?”

Cassie continues to live life to the fullest, from wheeling around in her new sports car to mastering the art of riding a motor scooter with no hands, she manages to keep Tom on his toes. The fly in the ointment is that Tom’s firm wants him back for a project and Cassie wants him all to herself.  When Tom takes the job, Cassie is left lonely and bored – never a good combination for her.

Left to her own devices Cassie makes some poor decisions, frightening Sue and causing Tom to lower the boom. Tom's new schedule for Cassie, including her getting a job, leaves her little time to get herself in trouble – yet she still manages.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

Saturday Spankings - Pure Bliss

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I’m moving on to Cassie’s Tale, my second book for today’s snippet In all my book I try to combine some of my three most important themes. Friendships, spanking and the deep love Cassie and Tom have for one another. Today’s snippet occurs not long after Cassie has an accidental fall and broke a bone in her hand. Tom has a special love for Cassie’s hands, and he never like to see her hurt (except perhaps during a spanking.) Here he helps his wife find the perks of having a broken hand.

I soon discovered the best part of having a broken hand was the baths. With the ridiculous bandage on my hand, a shower was impossible. I loved baths, but I had to have help. I’d had a trying day, perhaps too many visitors, my head hurt, my hand hurt, and trying to eat with my left hand was so awkward. Being fed by your loving husband may sound romantic, but only if it’s rare. I found myself in frustrated tears.

Tom helped me to the veranda to watch the sunset. “Will you be all right for a minute, girl? I need to take care of something.”

I’ll admit, it hurt my feeling just a little. I wanted his company. “Fine, whatever,” I said ungraciously.

Tom returned in about fifteen minutes. Helping me to my feet, he said, “Come with me.” Tom led me to the bedroom and silently began undressing me. I hated to protest, but I just wasn’t in the mood. I said nothing and soon I stood before him, nude. With a grin, Tom opened the door into our bathroom.

Oh, my stars and garters! Tom must have lit every candle we own. What an amazing sight it was, candles reflecting off the mirrors and even the bubbles of the wonderful bath he’d drawn. My romantic devil eased me down into the water. The scent and the sensation were overwhelming.

“Tom this is incredible. I can’t beli –”

“Shh, don’t talk, just relax,” he cooed to me.

I did as he said. I lay my head back on the towel he’d positioned for that purpose and gave in to the luxury of the bath… Oh my, that man knew how to give a bath. He began by massaging my face and neck with his hands as he washed. He gave each and every part of my body his full attention. I felt so peaceful that I feared I’d slip right down the drain. Finally helping me stand, he wrapped me in a huge soft towel and dried me silently, and then guided me to the bed. I remember him tucking me in and kissing me softly, but I remembered nothing else until morning. I wanted my hand back in working order, but until then, I was prepared to enjoy the perks.

Saturday Spankings - Telling Tom

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! In my first book, Cassie’s Space, Cassie has begun a blog and made friends with many of the spanko bloggers. While she knows Tom would not approve, the blog becomes very important to her, as well and the multiple friends she’s made. Realizing she can’t keep the blog a secret much longer she tells Tom. He is as outraged as she feared and the spanking she receives the from the ivory brush is significant. Tom is also adamant that there will be no more blogging or talking to her online friends. This pronouncement devastates Cassie.

Around four, I got up, dressed and went into the living room to curl up on the sofa. My mind raced. Usually once Tom spanks me, the situation – whatever it might be – is over and done with. That’s the beauty of our lifestyle. But not this time; we weren’t done. I actually hurt thinking of him taking away the computer. I even thought of going down to the lobby and using the computer there to contact my friends. But I’ve left a hotel room before without telling Tom and he had impressed on my mind – and other places – I had better not repeat that mistake.

I couldn’t settle down. I paced a bit and even tried to write some in my paper journal. But by six-thirty I thought I’d explode if I didn’t get out of that suite. My foul mood seemed to expand. I did not care if I made Tom even madder. I grabbed my purse, actually opened the door to the hall, before stepping back into the bedroom to shake Tom’s foot. He half sat up, saying, “What…?”

I said loudly, “I’m going down for coffee.” And with that, I scooted out the door and away from the suite. I might have heard him shout, “Cassie!” as the door slammed, but I didn’t know for sure.

I got my coffee and took it out on the porch and sat half-hidden by a big plant. Ten minutes later I saw Tom come into the lobby. He seemed a little frantic and I took small comfort in watching him talk to the desk attendant and look in the parking lot. I simply stayed quiet and drank my coffee. It took nearly a half hour before Tom found me and the man was not pleased.

“Cassie, I’ve had enough of this.” Enough is Tom’s final warning, and I do know to take it seriously. As we went back to the room, I got two hard pops on my extremely sore behind, which convinced me I didn’t want to push him too far.

“Girl, you need to get a grip on your attitude.” Tom sighed deeply. “Let’s get some breakfast and do some more sightseeing.”

I knew I might as well agree. We talked a little, but mostly only about history as we toured the different crafts around the old town. Usually, the beauty and calm of the place soothes me greatly, but not this time. By early afternoon, total exhaustion had set in. I hadn’t slept well for weeks, and I hadn’t slept at all the night before. We went back to the hotel and I lay down for a nap. I slept all afternoon and woke up around six. When I woke, I knew I had to make one more attempt to get Tom to understand about my blog.

“How are you feeling, honey?” he asked as I joined him in the sitting room. “You’ve slept for hours. I didn’t realize how tired you were. Where would you like to eat tonight?”

He seemed as though everything had returned to normal. I just had to try, “Tom, please, I want to talk about the blog. There are still things you don’t understand, and I need you to listen.”

Tom raised his hand in a stop gesture, which never fails to irritate the fool out of me.

“We’re done with that, and I don’t want to hear any more,” Tom snapped.

He sounded so adamant I knew he wouldn’t let me explain. At that moment I really felt my quest to keep my online friends was over. I felt a range of emotions and they all felt so strong. My mind casted around for something else to say, my heart hurt with the thought of losing my friends. That’s what my mind and heart thought and felt, meanwhile, my hand picked up the ice bucket and threw it at Tom.

Thank heavens the man has good reflexes. I missed him, but the bucket sailed across the room and hit the lamp, knocking it off the table. I don’t know which of us was more shocked. I felt horrified. Tom just stared at me. He finally walked over to the lamp and put it back on the table. He picked up the ice bucket and brought it back to where I stood. He turned and put his arms around me and just held me. I couldn’t stop crying. He finally said, “Well, honey, I’m sorry I wouldn’t listen. I guess what you have to say must be pretty important to you. Let’s talk.”

That’s how it started.

Saturday Spankings - Consequences

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! A few weeks ago, I posted a snippet from my first book, Cassie’s Space, where Cassie and her friends had a wonderful time shopping at an ‘adult’ toy store. Unfortunately, Tom had made it clear he did not want her to go to a shop like this. When he found out he handled it in his own special way.

Standing there, together by the bed, Tom held me at arm’s length. He looked at me intently when he asked, “Cassie, why did you lie to me?” His tone told me that, while he was still upset with me, I’d also hurt him.

I could only cry harder. I felt just awful. And I truly don’t know why I lied. I had already been caught. I knew he would spank me. What could I possibly have been thinking? Tom told me to take off my slacks. I recognized this as another sign of how much I’d displeased him. He knows I hate to take off my own clothes when he spanks me.

When he turned me around and bent me over the bed, I knew what to expect, but I still shuddered as I heard him remove his belt. Usually the belt is my friend, but it becomes my enemy when I lie to Tom. The belt, on top of the spanking, on top of his anger, almost frightened me. He didn’t use the belt long, but he did make a lasting impression.

By the time I heard him toss the belt into the chair I’d taken nearly all I could. Tom steadied me as I climbed up on the bed and he lay with me and held me as I cried. He didn’t say anything for a while. He waited until my sobs had quieted and we breathed in sync before he said, “We haven’t talked about your driving.”

I knew I couldn’t take any more spanking right then and I tried to tell him the truth, “Tom, you have to believe me, I forgot. I didn’t do it to be defiant. I often drive when we girls travel. It’s second nature to get behind the wheel. I really forgot.”

Tom looked at me. “I find it hard to believe you forgot since you’ve spent nearly a month moaning and whining about it. But if you really did forget, I blame it on you being so anxious to put your misguided plan into action.”

That’s when he dropped the dropped the bombshell. “Girl, when you get your license back next week, I’m keeping it for another month.”

I couldn’t believe he could mean that, and I couldn’t stop myself from saying, “That’s not fair! I get it back next Tuesday and you can’t have it!” Two sharp slaps on my sore bottom caused me to hush. The thought of not getting my license back for another month devastated me. Tom didn’t say anymore. He got up and got some of our lotion to do aftercare. Although the lotion felt cool and soothing, it hurt when he touched me at all.

I felt exhausted, even though it wasn’t late. Tom tucked me into bed and soon joined me. Tired, yes, but I remained restless all night. I must have slept some because I kept waking up. Around five the next morning, I awoke to see Tom lying there looking at me.

First thing Tom said to me as I woke was, “I love you,” and I began crying all over again. We made love, soft and sweet: I felt completely forgiven. The best thing about our lifestyle is that we take care of things so they don’t linger. And Tom doesn’t stay mad. It’s done and I get to start fresh.
