Saturday Spankings - Well since you asked...

Another beautiful Saturday has rolled around. I need more books to complete my summer reading and Saturday Spankings is a great place to come find some. Today my snippet comes from the fourth Cassie book, Cassie's River Living, now 99 cent on Amazon.

Cassie and Sue accidently got stuck in a house that was under construction. The entire community had searched for hours before the ladies were found. Tom told Cassie he wanted to wait until the next day before dealing with the consequences. Foolishly Cassie snapped that if he was going to spank her to just get it over with. He then gave her a hard, ‘I’m in charge and decide when you get spanked’ spanking. The next morning, he puts her over his knee for her illegal and dangerous trespassing the day before.

“Don’t Tom, I’m still sore!” I was squirming and trying to slip off his lap.
Tom pulled me tightly to him and gave me a hard swat, “I’m hoping an extra sore bottom will finally open your ears.”
“Please, wait, listen to me first,” I said in a last ditch effort. “I didn’t intend to do anything wrong. Honestly. I had the phone with me and I only went to take a quick look at the house. Sue was with me so I didn’t go alone. And I learned my lesson last night.”
“Cassie, would you like me to point out the flaw in your thinking?”
     “I’d rather you didn’t.”

  1. Made me smile. Why is it they get to decide when and if you've learned your lesson? Sometimes it just isn't fair. At least Tom listens to Cassie, which does earn him a few brownie points in my boos. Some guys are too intent on teaching lessons to take time to listen.

    1. Good question - I guess they get to decide because that's the way it is in the world we've chosen.

  2. I love the last line, "I'd rather you didn't." I have a feeling it's rhetorical question anyway. Great snippet PK :)

    1. She honestly goes for long spells where she's not in trouble, but she rarely writes about those times. LOL.

  5. I agree, I love that last sentence. I can imagine a sour faced girl saying it, knowing full well it's not going to matter.

    1. Nothing you say matters when you're in that position, unless it's a smart comment. They sure seem to hear those.
