Saturday Spanking - Cal's fears

Welcome back to Saturday Spankings! I love a good blog hop where you can get snippets for some great spanking books. Since I have the second Cal and Jenny book – Becoming Family, out early next month, I want to lure you into reading the first one now. Shame on me I went over the eight sentences a little this week.
This snippet from Cal’s Law closely follows the one from last week. Cal has use the paddle and because of the seriousness of what Jenny did, he decided to finish up with his belt.

“Drinking enough to pass out in that frat house was as dangerous as it gets.” Jenny heard the first whistling of the belt just before it landed.
“Please, Cal, don’t,” she begged.
“Be quiet,” he commanded. With the next lick she was far from quiet but she said no more. Each lick from the belt landed at the same spot on her lower bottom, she’s heard Cal call it her sit spot. He was ticking off danger points with each lick. “You could have been drugged…molested… raped.” Barely registering his words, the last lick landed its biting sting on her upper thighs. She didn’t hear Cal final fear, “I could have lost you.”
Cal stood her up and held her to him as she cried. “Shh…it’s all right now, Jen. You’re going to be alright. Cry it out.”
Jenny felt her body was a study in contrast. She hurt so bad and felt so good in his arms. She cried softly into his chest and enjoyed the feeling of his arms around her.

Jenny is the typical rich-kid, sorority girl. Getting good grades isn’t high on her priority list. In fact, that sits well below getting into the secret faction of her sorority. To do that she must pull off a daring bit of mischief.
Cal Bennett is the town sheriff. He’s a relatively young, no-nonsense, kind of guy – with a good heart. He is the moral center of this small town in North Carolina. But when his and Jenny’s paths cross unexpectedly, things get complicated and he questions his morals and his heart.
His plan to save Jenny from herself by enforcing strict discipline seems like a sound one.  To both of them. At first. He enacts a touch of martial law and Jenny agrees to learn more than English Lit. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry are but a few of her new subjects. Along with time-management, telling the truth and doing homework. Breaking any one in this new set of rules will result in a sound spanking. It all sounds simple enough when she signs on the dotted line of the contract between her and her sheriff.
But, life is messy and she is faced with one tough decision after another. She’s a college student! Shouldn’t life be easier than this? Less complicated? But she is pulled in two directions: her moral, upstanding sheriff leads her down one path, and a cute frat boy leads her down another. In one direction lies maturity, and a future. In the other, the simplicity of being a rich kid in college where Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. Now she must choose: Will she continue to let her parents pay for it all, or will she learn to pay the price for her own actions?

  1. Hard lesson for Jenny, ouch! Cal is serious, and he cares. Love the ending :)

    1. Cal was way more aware of the danger she was in than she ever knew.

  2. Sounds great, PK! He'll get her sorted out. :)

    1. He's very strict on certain thing. Hope she learns fast.

  3. This is so sweet & scary at the same time. Cal & Jenny sound like a perfect couple.

    1. Thanks Libby. I love them together too.

  4. Sweet and scary. I agree. Fear can be a great motivator, and the fact that he cares so much also shows that his concern for her welfare is uppermost in his mind. Love the snippet, PK.

    1. Thanks Kathryn. She did scare him and he really does care for her.

  5. That last line was one of my favorites, PK!

    Hugs From Ella

  6. It seems that they're both in pain and I'm not sure which one's worse. Lovely tense snippet, PK! :)

    1. I guess that's the way in really would/should be in a loving DD relationship.
