Saturday Spankings - Watch your temper

It’s time for Saturday Spankings again. I know many, many of us are concentrating on the weather and all our friends and family in Florida and the whole south today. Since you stopped by here today I’ll try to take your mind off these worries for a moment.

Today’s snipped is from the third Cassie book, Cassie on the Move.  Cassie had kept the fact that she was feeling tired and feverish a secret from Tom. Tom was not happy with Cassie when, after she passed out, she finally confessed to both Tom and her doctor that she’d been feeling unwell. Tom hovered as she recovered, not letting her be too active and not letting her drive. Once Cassie was fully on the mend, Tom wanted to talk about why she had kept it all from him. Cassie on the other hand, just wanted Tom off her back she wanted to end the conversation. She might not have chosen the best way.

Tom asked, “Are you sure this is the way you want this conversation to go?”
I’d gotten up to take my dishes to the counter and I turned back and yell at him, “I don’t want this conversation to go anywhere. I want my damn keys!”
I know, I know – I’d yelled a bit, and cussed just a little, but I did not break the glass on purpose. It was just that everything seemed to happen at once. When I sat my plate down, maybe a tiny bit hard, the glass fell into the sink and shattered.
Tom jumped up and grabbed both my hand from behind before I could reach into the sink for the broken pieces. Tucking me under his arm he sailed in to my rear with a hard hand. Goodness, nightgowns offer such little protection. Or so I thought until he pulled it up and let go with another volley.
“You’re just spanking me because I got sick. That wasn’t my fault. Owww!” I shouted, that last spank was extremely hard.
Tom straightened me back up and held me at arm’s length. “That wasn’t a spanking,” he informed me. “That was simply a suggestion that you get hold of yourself, smashing dishes, yelling, cursing? Girl, what’s gotten into you?”
“Felt like a spanking to me,” I muttered.

Cassie is on the move and loving life. Through paint ball game in the woods and water park adventure she’s gets to know her new neighbors as the new house is renovated.

Cassie is traveling too, from trips with just the girls, to conventions, vacations, and cruises with Tom and friends, she's always ready for the next adventure. But when Cassie begins having dizzy spells Tom thinks a slower pace is in order. Getting Cassie to slow down and take care of herself proves to be quite a challenge. A challenge Tom is more than determined to take on.

  4. That would feel like a spanking to me as well. I thought he'd grabbed both her wrists to keep her from picking up the broken glass. Perhaps he did, but that wasn't the only reason. Love the snippet, PK.

  6. I love the way Cassie chooses to argue over whether or not she's just had a spanking. That's not always the a good move. I also love what follows - but I'm not going to give away what Tom does next.
