Welcome to all who come by today. I’m jumping around from my Cassie’s Space series to my current book, Returning to Us, in the Corbin’s Bend series. Today I’m going with a snippet from the second in the Cassie series, Cassie’s Tale.
Cassie and Sue took the boat out for a wine run one night, against the wishes of their husbands. As usual their conversation caused them to lose track of time and they arrived home to annoyed husbands. Sue and Steve headed to the house leaving Cassie and Tom to ‘talk’ on the dock.
“Cassie, can you tell me what you did wrong tonight?”
I decided to be completely honest with my answer. “We didn’t get back before you noticed we took the boat?” Perhaps not the answer he wanted, but he said he always wanted honesty.
He shook his head while watching me, and then reached to undo his belt. You have to understand what this does to me. Most of the time, I really don’t think of myself as a submissive. I have an old-fashioned husband and we have an old-fashioned marriage. I mostly did whatever I wanted and if he didn’t like it, I often got my bottom warmed. But when I watch him remove his belt something happens to me. I think it is what my fellow bloggers know as going into sub-mode. My knees get weak, it seems hard to breathe, and I absolutely ache with desire. Tom knows exactly how this affects me.
I watched him slowly remove his belt. I stood on the floating dock and felt unsteady on my feet. I didn’t move or say a word. Tom folded the belt in his hand and came to me. His free hand went to the back of my neck, and he pulled me to him and kissed me. Tom and I kiss a lot, but let me tell you this was some kiss. I felt a tingle clear to my toes and several other interesting places along the way. Neither of us said a word as he led me to one of the heavier chairs and bent me over the back. I gripped the arms tightly as Tom lowered my shorts and panties.

Love this PK, I can totally relate to a love/hate relationship with the belt. There's just something about the belt, and watching it being removed.

Roz
Yep, the sight and sound are important.
DeleteI'm with Roz on this one. I'm not a big fan of the belt, but I get weak-kneed as I watch it being slipped out of his pant loops and folded in his fist. So, looks like I have a love/hate relationship with it, too.
ReplyDeleteI believe it happens with the best of us.
DeleteGood one, PK! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shelly
DeleteI remember this passage well, because of Tom taking off his belt. Always my favorite, and it always will be. You wrote this so well, PK.

Thanks, Ella. This scene has always been so clear in my mind.
