I want to try blogging here more. I find that more than
anything else I have questions. I think I’m going to try something new. I’m
going to post something I’m going to call, “Tell me Tuesdays”. I have questions
about writing, editing, promoting – actually there’s not much I don’t have
questions about.
The first questions I have are about all of you. I feel like I
got here late, there are so many good writers.
Everyone has been friendly and I’ve gotten to know some of you, but
honestly I’m still pretty confused. On FB, someone will post something or leave
a comment and I’m wondering, ‘Is she the one with young kids or is she a
grandmother?’ Another time I’ll be wondering, ‘Is she from Europe, the US or Australia’. I hate feeling lost all the time.
I’m hoping that some of you would be willing to leave a few
answers here in comment, and tell me about yourself. I don’t
mean to pry, but whatever you feel comfortable telling I’d be most grateful, I
just want to feel like I know who I’m talking to.
Here’s my information. I’m PK Corey, I’m fifty-seven and I
live in the southern US. I’m married with a husband who spanks mostly for fun.
I have two grown children. I’ve blogged for almost eight years and I write the
Cassie books.
Now, I don’t feel like I’ve led you to my door, but maybe
you get the idea. I hope some of you will stop by. Surely I can’t be the only
one out here that’s confused.
Maybe if you offerred some coffee and cake, lol.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you are trying to do, I can't even find things to write about on my other blog that other than SS I don't use Once An Author.
Maybe we can brainstorm a little next month.
That's it! I should have offered refreshment! But I can't cook. Oh well, we'll definitely put our heads together.
DeleteHi PK! It is confusing to keep everyone straight. I think it was a big easier for me because I got to know a handful of authors before I joined FB, where it seems like an endless number of authors and it's a bit harder to distinguish one from another....especially when so few have pictures up.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I like your idea for Tell Me Tuesdays.
About me...I'm old enough to have worn bell bottom in the 70s. I am a lawyer, though not currently practicing. I have a great sense of humor, a wonderful husband, fabulous son and cute dog. Not necessarily listed in order of importance, but the sense of humor does help when dealing with all three of the others at the same time.
A sense of humor always helps! I actually have some of those old bell bottoms and I pull them out in class ever year as a 'history lesson' for my kids. They are usually rolling in the floor laughing.
DeleteHey PK! Great idea! I am not an author...but I will bite!
ReplyDeleteI am almost leaving my 52nd year...I am a wife, mother, sister daughter and friend. I am an artist and a teacher! OH and I LOVE reading spanking fiction!
Spanking happens....! LOL....
Minelle!
DeleteSo glad you stopped by - I read some of you stories so I know you are a writer and I sure love anyone who loves to read spanking fiction.
PK,
ReplyDeleteIf you don't know me by now, I'll be seriously disappointed. LOL!
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
I know you and I love you!
DeletePK,
ReplyDeleteYou know more about me than most of my family:)
Love,
Ronnie
xx
Ronnie,
DeleteStrange how that happens over the years.
Hi PK - I was just hopping around and found you :). I'm new too (our first book was published in September) so I don't know any other authors. I'm stooping so low as to offering a chocolate cake recipe on my Saturday Spanks Blog this week - hoping to attract more comments!! I would love to blog my recipes - but I'm afraid no one will read them :) So nice to meet you - we are the same age!!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you both, I've really enjoyed SS and being able to put up Snippet. Right now I'm writing the Cassie series about a more mature couple in the life style. A recipe is something I couldn't do - cooking is not one of my talents. Hope we can talk more.
