I don’t know if there is a ‘proper’ way to write a review.
There probably is, but I don’t know it. As for me all I can do is tell you
about the books I like and why I like them. We all have certain genre that we
might call our favorite. I could have
said all my life that spanking romance was my favorite, but for much of my
life, I didn’t know it existed. Once I discovered it, my horizons have opened.
I would never have said gay spanking romance were my cup of tea, but that was
before I ran across the work of Thianna D.
Thianna amazing ability to tell a story made Christian and
Logan come alive in her trilogy, All They Ever Needed. There is realism in
these books that drew me like a magnet. Both men are strong, both are loving
and both can be tender. The characters live and breath as you not only learn
about them as individuals, but their families. I love the family interaction,
once again that not only made it real for me, but also helped me see both men
in a deeper way. These book show a true love story, who could resist that?
The first two books As Natural as Breathing, and Took my
Breath Away were wonderful. The third book, Breath Each Other In, came out
yesterday and by the time you read this I should be well into it. Having read
and loved the first two, I have no problem recommending the third one strongly.
Wonderful review PK, great job :) Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have read and really enjoyed snippets from the first two books and agree with you about the family interactions and these giving deeper insight into the characters. Congratulations to Thianna on the new release!

Thanks so much, Roz!
DeleteTo me the love between people draws me! It doesn't matter whether they are gay or straight, love is love! Great review!
ReplyDeleteI agree :D
DeleteGreat review PK. I hope it reaches people who have difficulty accepting relationships outside of the M/F sector. Thianna captures the ethos of a relationship no matter the gender.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leigh :) I love to think of it as a wonderful love story, so I'm so glad it crosses barriers :)
DeleteExcellent review PK. Thank you. New writer to me.

ReplyDeletelove Jan,xx
Hope you enjoy them, Jan :)
DeleteGreat Review Funny Thianna's trilogy was my first introduction to M/M too, and I loved them. For all the reasons you said - they come alive - you see all of them - not just the part of them that centres around each other, but their interaction with friends and family. I love the series and have started Breathe Each Other In which I am thoroughly enjoying.
ReplyDeletewoo hoo :)
