I
missed Saturday Spankings last week, but the trip to the beach was much needed.
I am happy to be back because I need to fill up my Kindle. For my snippet this
week I’m sticking with the latest book, Cassie Corralled, and going back to
where I left off with Cassie and Tom two weeks ago. After a hard spanking for
overdoing and not listening, and then a very sensual spanking from the belt,
Cassie and Tom head to the party. Cassie has no desire to go to the party, but
Tom had said it was important to his future…
Tom held
my hand as we descended the stairs. “Is the car here yet?” I asked as we turned
toward the living room, to wait I assumed. Tom didn’t answer and just stopped
at the living room entrance. I looked into the room puzzled. The magnificent
Christmas tree sparkled beautifully in front of the window. There was a fire
burning cheerfully in the fire place and in front of it a table set for two.
Tom led me
in, still stunned. “I told you this party was too important to miss. It’s
important to my future, our future. We were drifting away from one another,
just a little and it made me sad – I wanted to reconnect, just you and me. Away
from friends and family. I want to be us, just us for tonight.”

Cassie Corralled (book 8)
Cassie is still living life to the fullest, telling Allie about long ago shooting incidents, and playing laser tag with the children. Tom keeps an amused, yet watchful, eye on his lovely wife. He tries to be tolerant of Cassie’s fun loving ways, but when she decides to spend the day with people she met through the Internet, without letting him or the girls know of her plans, Tom sees red. Tired of Cassie constantly putting herself in possible danger Tom decides to hire a driver. Cassie immediately sees this plan for what it really is. Tom wants to hire a bodyguard / watchdog / babysitter for Cassie. That’s something Cassie won’t tolerate and after quickly packing a bag, she’s gone with a roar of the engine. In this case Cassie is determine to have her way – and so is Tom, the final decision may change life on the river forever.
