"Look, I'm sorry. I know that was incredibly rude. I really wasn't trying to be flippant." She took a deep breath and continued. "I know that Brody is a good man and that Laurie loves him with her entire heart and soul." She took it as a sign he was listening when he didn't open the door and shove her inside. I want there to be no doubt that they truly would die for the other no matter how others might view their relationship.
