Saturday Spankings - Thoughts after spanking

It’s Saturday again and I’m putting up a snippet from Cassie’s Conflict the fifth in the Cassie’s Space series. Allie, Cassie’s young friend and future daughter-in-law, managed to get herself in trouble with her boyfriend Ryan, Cassie’s son. Cassie listened with sympathy and was particularly sad to hear that Ryan also used a hairbrush. The women also try to understand the emotions behind spanking.

My heart sank for my sweet Allie. My hatred of hairbrushes goes back nearly forty years, and to think that there was another in our midst was heartbreaking. I knew Allie was much smarter than me and surely a faster learner. Perhaps theirs wouldn’t ever see the overuse ours had.
“Well,” she went on, “he finally stopped. He reached in the box again and brought out some lotion. I guess it was supposed to help, but it burned, everything burned. Ryan let me get up and I sat on his lap, but kinda between his legs and he just hugged me while I cried. Cassie, when I looked at him finally, I could see that he was pretty upset too. It was a strange moment. I mean that spanking had really, really hurt, but I could see that it hurt Ryan too. It wasn’t anything like our play ones. He seemed so serious. I know none of my friends would ever understand, but I felt like Ryan loved me more right then than ever before. And I know I loved him more. Do you understand?”
I had tears in my eyes too by this time. “Yes, I do,” I answered her quietly. “Well, I guess I don’t completely understand, but I’ve certainly experienced it. I do know that they wouldn’t bother to spank us if they didn’t really, really love us. And I guess if we didn’t love them back just as much, we wouldn’t let them.”

    1. It does, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we could REALLY understand why.

  3. It is really complicated isn’t it? I love this conversation. I miss some of these kinds of conversations in the harder-core current stories from other authors. I simply love that conflict of non con in the moment.... but.... then those convos!

    1. Thanks. There are time I really want to read a dark, hard-core book, but I think there are still readers out there who enjoy my style too.
