Saturday Spankings - The need for speed...

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I’m still very excited about my newest release, On the River and I’m happy to be sharing some snippet here. If you enjoy Cassie and her friend, please go back and check out other books about them in the Cassie’s Space series and the Cal’s Law series.

Cassis is ready for another girls’ trip. Tom is never in favor due to some definite misadventures in the past. But Cassie is Cassie and adventure is always calling.

“So,” Cassie picked up the conversation, “where do you want to go? China? Antarctica? Outer Mongolia?”

Annie laughed. “After some of our adventures on our girls’ trips, we’ll be lucky if Tom lets you out of a fifty mile radius.”

“I just want to do something different,” Cassie lamented, “something fun and unusual. We could learn to fly a plane or maybe parachuting. I guess it would be hard to learn to fly, but even I could figure out how fall out of a plane.”

Musing, she continued, “We could go mountain climbing or … learn to ride a motorcycle. Take scuba diving lessons! Or how about going to Spain and running with the bulls?”

All the women were smiling indulgently at Cassie’s wild ideas.

“Tell Mr. Tom any of them ideas and you can practice runnin’ from that bull. He’d have hisself a fit just hearin’ ‘bout ‘em,” Lily exclaimed.

“You’re probably right,” Cassie agreed. “I don’t want to give him a heart attack, but keep thinking, girls. I need some excitement.”

Mom needs excitement. Now that’s a frightening thought. Realizing Cassie was fully capable of trying any of the things she’d just mentioned, Allie exchanged a worried look with Lily.

Saturday Spankings - Cassie never believed...

* I would greatly appreciate anyone who would follow me on Bookbub or Goodreads!

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I’m so happy to have the new book out. On the River is the first in a new series. The characters, Cassie’s ‘family’ are familiar to many of you, but if you’re a brand new reader – trust me, you’ll feel right at home from the beginning.

In today’s snippet begins as Annie talks Cassie out of stopping by the shooting range, somewhere Tom has firmly told her to avoid. Cassie finally agrees and comes home to find good things await her.

You do realize, don’t you, that when we go along with something that Tom doesn’t want you to do, our butts can be in as much danger as yours?”

Cassie looked at Annie and shook her head. “Your butt will never be in as much danger as mine.” Cassie knew from Annie’s few descriptions of her ‘spankings’ that they were generally a few mild swats. “But fine, fine. Never let it be said that I would do something against Tom’s wishes.”

Sue rolled her eyes as Annie laughed and they headed for home.  Cassie dropped Annie and Sue off at each of their houses before heading to her own. She walked into a kitchen filled with the aromas of Lily’s baking. “You made chocolate cake! White, marshmallow icing?”

“You know it. I know what you like, Missy. Now go lock up that gun ‘fore somebody get hurt.”

Cassie headed to her room and safely secured her gun before getting cleaned up for dinner. She had just stepped into the shower when the bathroom door opened and Tom came in.

“You’re home early. How was your day?” she asked, her voice rising over the noise of the shower.

“It was good. We came to a good stopping point and I decided to head home. Hmm… I’m wondering, could you use a hand in there?”

“Oh yes!” Cassie smiled broadly. “I’m sure I missed a few places.”

Tom quickly undressed and joined her. With great skill, he turned an ordinary shower into a magical experience of luscious-smelling soaps and intimate massages. Cassie leaned against Tom almost weak-kneed as he continued to run his hands over her body.

“I’m ready to call off dinner and lock the bedroom door,” she told him.

“I’m afraid that wouldn’t be polite. That and the fact that Lily is cooking a standing rib roast. But I promise not to forget where I was,” Tom assured her.

Reluctantly, they exited the shower. Cassie gave him one last kiss and asked, “Do you think young people know that you can still feel this kind of passion and desire at our age?”

Tom laughed. “I imagine it will come as a shock to many of them. And what about you? You’ve said you didn’t even think our marriage would last, much less that we couldn’t keep our hands off each other all these years later.”

“Yes, can you believe it? The one thing I’ve been wrong about since we married.”

Grabbing Cassie into a tight hug, he gave her naked bottom a swift pop. “The one thing? Girl, I’m going to need to teach you how to count.”

Saturday Spankings - Things are about to get ugly

Happy Saturday to you. I’m happy to let you know that I have begun a new series – with some old friends. The first book in that series will be out early in January. More about that in the future. Today’s snippet is from Cassie’s Influence, the sixth in the Cassie’s Space series.

Tom and Cassie have been happily married for decades. Their love and faithfulness has never wavered, but when another woman comes on strong for Tom, Cassie is not one to take it lightly. Cassie and Sue send her an email, supposedly from Tom, telling her that he is uncomfortable with her advances and for her to leave him alone. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop her and she texted back.

Tom, you have to learn to loosen up. Life is too short not to go after pleasure. I promise I can rock your world and I can be very discreet about it. But I'm not against including your wife. Bring her along. What man doesn't enjoy a three way? I'll expect to hear from you.

And in case your wife isn't the adventurous type, I wouldn't have any trouble rounding up a third. And here are a few other things we could try…

She then proceeded to tick off nearly ever sex act and perversion known to man. Standing there staring at what she had written, I began to create a mental picture, almost a movie in my head, of what she was wanting to do in bed with MY husband.

It took just a minute to get my breath back. Sue and I stared at one another speechlessly. That bitch thought I would share him? A threesome? I felt like there was a tornado beginning somewhere around my middle, and it was about to break into a raging storm.

Blurb:

Intentionally or not, Cassie’s influence spreads. Sue’s marriage has improved through Cassie’s influence. However, when Sue’s marriage unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse, Sue pushes for the solution she feels will work, a solution that could put Cassie on a collision course with the ivory brush.

Allie and Ryan are both feeling influence from Cassie and Tom. Cassie doesn't mean to lead Allie astray - but Allie sees Cassie as a role model. Every adventure, old or new, captures Allie's attention, which increases her desire to be more like her mentor. But for better or worse, Ryan is just as determined to be like Tom.

Saturday Spankings - It was all Sue's fault...

Another Saturday has rolled around. I appreciate you coming back for another  snippet. This one is from the 6th in the Cassie’s Space series, Cassie’s Influence.

Tom has often said Cassie could get herself in trouble at Bible Study class and she can certainly fine trouble when she’s with Sue. Tom gave a firm ‘no’ when Cassie asked to go to a comedy club Sue wanted to attend, stating that the comedian was disrespectful to women and cussed a blue streak. So she was quite surprised when he changed his mind. She learn of this listening to Sue’s side of a phone conversation…

"Seriously, Tom's going along with that too?" My interest was piqued. "So it's okay with him? He's not going to change his mind and jump down Cassie's throat when we get back? It's going to be close to two AM before we're home. Oh, okay. Does Tom want to talk to Cassie?" She listened for another minute and then, "Sounds good. Yes, yes, we'll be careful. We'll see you around two." And with that, she hung up.

In answer to our questioning looks, Sue responded, "The boys are flying down to San Diego to see some kind of exhibition ball game and we get to go to the comedy show! Your husband, pompous as ever," Sue informed me, "said 'I still don't approve, but since we'll be gone I suppose it's all right this once. Tell Cassie she has a two drink limit.' Honestly, Cassie, he can be such an ass at times."

I'm so used to Sue and Tom being at crossed swords I ignored her last statement. I was delighted that Tom had changed his mind and I was looking forward to the show. I never gave a minute's thought to questioning Sue's statements. Too bad. Every word she had just uttered was a bald faced lie.

The show was fabulous! So raunchy. Perhaps I had exceeded my two-drink limit by a bit, but we had hired a car and driver so I wasn't worried. Although Sue had seemed to enjoy the show as much as we had, she seemed to grow quiet and brooding almost as soon as we got back in the car.

"What's eating you, gloomy?" I asked her.

Sue stared at me, an angry look on her face. I stared back. Finally, I began to get angry. "What's wrong with you?" I asked, not trying to conceal my annoyance.

Sue began digging in her purse and then tossed my phone into my lap. Picking it up, I looked at her in confusion. "What are you doing with my phone?"

"I stole it," was her cryptic reply.

"Sue, what the hell's going on? Why do you have my phone?" Annie and I were both completely in the dark as we stared at Sue questioningly.

"I lied," she said simply. "The boys aren't at a ball game. They're probably at the hotel pacing and wondering where the hell we are. They never called. I lied," she repeated.
