Saturday Spankings - A couple in love

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! To help everyone get in the mood for my next book coming in August, I’m putting up snippets from the first book in that series, On the River.

I try to put many things in my books, sex, spanking, humor and adventure, but I also want to show the day to day lives of a long married couple who are still deeply in love. That’s who Cassie and Tom are. Here’s a bit of one of their days.

“You’re home early. How was your day?” Cassie asked, her voice rising over the noise of the shower.

“It was good. We came to a good stopping point and I decided to head home. Hmm… I’m wondering, could you use a hand in there?”

“Oh yes!” Cassie smiled broadly. “I’m sure I missed a few places.”

Tom quickly undressed and joined her. With great skill, he turned an ordinary shower into a magical experience of luscious-smelling soaps and intimate massages. Cassie leaned against Tom almost weak-kneed as he continued to run his hands over her body.

“I’m ready to call off dinner and lock the bedroom door,” she told him.

“I’m afraid that wouldn’t be polite. That and the fact that Lily is cooking a standing rib roast. But I promise not to forget where I was,” Tom assured her.

Reluctantly, they exited the shower. Cassie gave him one last kiss and asked, “Do you think young people know that you can still feel this kind of passion and desire at our age?”

Tom laughed. “I imagine it will come as a shock to many of them. And what about you? You’ve said you didn’t even think our marriage would last, much less that we couldn’t keep our hands off each other all these years later.”

“Yes, can you believe it? The one thing I’ve been wrong about since we married.”

Grabbing Cassie into a tight hug, he gave her naked bottom a swift pop. “The one thing? Girl, I’m going to need to teach you how to count.”

It can’t be said that these ladies always follow their husbands’ lead and the men often have their hands full trying to keep up with their fun-loving and headstrong wives.

This first book in a new series by PK Corey follows the funny, quirky and romantic escapades of Cassie and her friends Sue and Annie as well as the younger generation who are all involved in solving a problem from Cassie’s past.

Saturday Spankings - Each man is different

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I’m putting up snippets from Searching for Home, fourth in the Cal’s Law series. In today’s snippet Allie is home from an impromptu girls’ trip she and Jenny and Lane had taken – without telling their husbands where they were going, or even that they were going. Knowing that Jenny and Lane would be getting spanked, as well as herself, she began thinking of how all the different husbands dealt with their wives.

As Allie watched Cal and Jenny walk toward Sue and Steve’s house, she felt a pang of worry for her friend. She knew from Jenny’s descriptions that Cal’s spankings were pretty serious if he thought she’d done something wrong.

Allie quickly thought of all the different men on The Landing. She knew Andy rarely spanked Annie. Annie was so sweet and good there was hardly ever a reason. Yet there was a time or two that Annie had gone along with some crazy idea of Cassie or Sue’s that had landed her across Andy’s lap. But she could never imagine Andy being harsh with her.

Allie knew little about how Sue and Steve handled discipline. Sue was not one to share details. But Allie could usually tell when there had been a spanking in the Moore household.  Sue would have an angry glare on her face the next time she saw Cassie, since she ‘blamed’ Cassie for bringing spanking into her life. Although Allie knew it was Sue herself who had asked Steve to think about it. And Allie knew that came straight from envy of Cassie and Tom’s relationship.

Cassie and Tom – now that was a relationship worth studying. Tom had old-fashioned ideas about how a lady should act. Cassie shared few of these ideas, but she adored Tom, so she often tried to conform to them. They had been married forever, yet they shared a passion for one another that she’d seen in few other marriages.

But Tom was strict – way stricter than Allie could have dealt with. And when he thought Cassie deserved a hard spanking, she definitely got one. It worried Allie a little. They weren’t exactly young. How long would Cassie be able to handle this type of relationship? But Cassie didn’t seem the least bit worried about it, and continued to glow with love for Tom, whether she was sitting sensitively or not.

Jenny is happily married to her strong, gorgeous sheriff. She has great friends and a good job. But life is never perfect is it? Within a short time, she and Cal have to move from the home they rent, need to move in with his parents and receive life-changing news from her mother’s lawyer. Jenny’s friend and boss, Allie, has her share of problems too – money woes, grabby clients and burglaries near her work.

When they try to keep their worries from their protective husbands, they find out what it means to have an alpha man to deal with. After the girls are attacked at work, things seem to go from bad to worse. Taking on adult responsibilities is never easy as they’re finding out the hard way. Good thing they have their older friends, Cassie, Sue, Annie and Lily to fall back on.

Saturday Spankings - Spanking for the Right Reason

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I have another snippet from On the River, the first book in my newest series.

While Tom’s been away Cassie jumps into something Tom sees as dangerous. Finding out about it as soon as he returns, he’s about to let Cassie know how he feels. Tears, before the spanking takes him off guard. But I love Cassie’s explanation.

Cassie stared at her husband. She didn’t want to fight with him. She’d missed him and she just wanted to be held. A single tear slipped down her cheek before she could catch it.

Tom knew Cassie’s tears. He’d seen them caused by anger, by joy and certainly from a spanking or two. He knew often her tears were cleansing, a true release of fear or stress. But now there was only sadness in the tears and those hurt him.

“Come lie down with me,” he said and they curled up on the bed together. Cassie still cried silently as he held her and kissed her softly.

Finally as her tears stopped she told Tom, “I was going to tell you. Not the moment you walked in the door, of course. But I loved what the man said last night and I wanted to share it with you. It was more of a motivational speech than anything. It made me feel confident and brave and powerful… he made me feel like I could do anything.”

Tom shook his head. “Just what I wanted, someone to make you more confident and bold!”

“Tom I don’t care if you spank me or not – but if you do, do it for the right reason.”

“And that would be…”

“Do it because you love me and love to spank me – not because I did something wrong, because I didn’t. I know you want me safe, but you can’t protect me from life. I’m going to live and enjoy it, not sit in a safe bubble until I die of boredom.”

Saturday Spankings - Rescue

Happy Saturday to all. I’m still doing snippets from Cassie’s Ordeal, seventh in the Cassie Series books.

Cassie ordeal of being taken from her home and held captive has been a terrifying experience. Trying to convince her captor that he doesn’t have to restrain her she has spent the day seeming to go in and out of consciousness. Even after being rescued she still isn’t certain of what all is happening.

Mike Reynolds became furious that I had been overheard by the police. I don’t know how many times he hit me, but he got in several blows before the police got him subdued. I remember nothing about being taken to the hospital. Once there I still wasn’t very clear. I felt I was in a hospital, but I also thought that it just might be another dream. I had spent all that time pretending to be out of it, and I was still in that frame of mind. Someone was telling me to open my eyes. Someone asked me to squeeze their hand. I was scared to do either.

Meanwhile the police bought Tom and Ryan to the hospital. One of the first people they saw as they rushed in, was Richard Bridges, my personal physician. He had come to the hospital when he heard that the police thought they had the suspect contained. I found later that I was the lead story in the news that day. I think I prefer anonymity. “Where, where …” was all Tom could get out.

Richard was firm, “Give me five minutes, Tom. Let me check her out. I promise I’ll get you back there in minutes. But wait right now.” He then turned and hurried down the hall.

“We’re not getting a good response,” he was told as he walked in. “She’s not responding to commands.”

Richard came over to me; looking at all the monitors they had me hooked to. He pulled my eyes opened one at a time and shined a light into them. Seeing and hearing Richard gave me hope; this dream didn’t seem to be fading. “Cassie,” he said firmly, “we can’t let Tom back here until we get some cooperation from you.”

Richard addressed the nurse. “I’ve known Cassie for years. If you want to get anything from her you need to wave her husband in her face.” The nurse began questioning me again.

“Can you tell us your name?”

“Cassie Duff.”

“Ms. Duff, do you know where you are?”

“I’m in a hospital.”

“What year is it, ma’am?”

I told them.

Richard spoke then, “How old are you?”

Richard is fully aware I don’t like to say my age in front of anyone.

I slowly turned my head to look at him. He seemed real and I reached out to take hold of the front of his shirt to make sure he didn’t vanish. Holding on to his shirt I told him in a soft voice, “It’s no one’s business how old I am, and if you want to see another birthday go get Tom.” Richard’s booming laughter seemed to fill the hospital.

Blurb:

Cassie loves her life on the river with Tom and her friends. She feels Tom has her wrapped in a safe and protected cocoon of love.  But her world is jarred when the phone calls begin. Cassie hesitates to tell Tom about them knowing he’ll over react and she will be the one under ‘house arrest’. But when the calls go from annoying to frightening she has no choice. Tom brings in the police to find out who is behind the harassment and makes plans to keep Cassie safe, but he’s too late – Cassie is gone without a trace.

The police begin an all-out search, but there are few clues to go on. Will life on the river ever be the same again?
