Saturday Spankings - Troubles in Town

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I’m so excited to have the second book in the On the River series out – Secrets on the River. I try to put a little of everything in my books in an attempt to make it as real as possible, some sex, some spanking, lots of dialogue, a little action and deep committed friendships.

In today’s snippet Cassie and Sue have just had a run in with a purse snatcher and didn’t come out of it too well, but their friends are close by.

 

Sirens wailed as a police car pulled up. The moment they had the hapless thief in cuffs, Jenny and Lane raced back to Cassie and Sue. Allie sat with Cassie, trying to calm her as Lily knelt by Sue. Allie spoke soothingly instructing Cassie to be still. Annie was dashing between the two.

“Help me up!” Cassie demanded. “I know Sue’s hurt! Go help her!” Cassie was in obvious pain, clutching her left arm to her chest, but her worry for Sue wiped her own pain from her thoughts.

“Lily’s got her,” Jenny told Cassie, as she knelt beside her. “Where all do you hurt?” she questioned.

“It’s nothing. Please check on Sue,” Cassie cried.

Annie rushed over. “How is she?” Cassie questioned before Annie could speak. Annie didn’t answer but her frightened eyes told Cassie more than she wanted to know.

“Get me up from here,” she yelled frantically. Though they knew she shouldn’t move, Jenny and Lane carefully helped her to her feet and supported her as she walked to where Sue lay. 

“Sue!” Cassie cried in anguish. Sue looked bad. They could see the bruises forming where she’d been hit and there was blood coming from under her head.

“Sue, Sue! Don’t you dare die on me!” Cassie was near hysterics. “Is she breathing? Oh, Lily, help her, please!”

“It okay, Missy. She breathin’,” Lily assured her. But the worried look on her face spoke louder than her words.

“Sit her down!” Annie cried as Cassie slumped against Jenny in a dead faint.

Saturday Spankings - Spanking for the right reason

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I have another snippet from On the River, the first book in my latest series. Book two, Secrets on the River will be out early in August.

In today’s snippet Cassie has once again found a way to get Tom wound up. She had a fun, exciting evening the night before but Tom only sees the danger. As often happen Tom is torn over keeping his wife safe and keeping her happy.

 

Cassie stared at her husband. She didn’t want to fight with him. She’d missed him and she just wanted to be held. A single tear slipped down her cheek before she could catch it.

Tom knew Cassie’s tears. He’d seen them caused by anger, by joy and certainly from a spanking or two. He knew often her tears were cleansing, a true release of fear or stress. But now there was only sadness in the tears and those hurt him.

“Come lie down with me,” he said and they curled up on the bed together. Cassie still cried silently as he held her and kissed her softly.

Finally as her tears stopped she told Tom, “I was going to tell you about it. Not the moment you walked in the door, of course. But I loved what the man said last night and I wanted to share it with you. It was more of a motivational speech than anything. It made me feel confident and brave and powerful… he made me feel like I could do anything.”

Tom shook his head. “Just what I wanted, someone to make you more confident and bold!” 

“Tom I don’t care if you spank me or not – but if you do, do it for the right reason.”

“And that would be…”

“Do it because you love me and love to spank me – not because I did something wrong, because I didn’t. I know you want me safe, but you can’t protect me from life. I’m going to live and enjoy it, not sit in a safe bubble until I die of boredom.”

Saturday Spankings - A couple in love

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! To help everyone get in the mood for my next book coming in August, I’m putting up snippets from the first book in that series, On the River.

I try to put many things in my books, sex, spanking, humor and adventure, but I also want to show the day to day lives of a long married couple who are still deeply in love. That’s who Cassie and Tom are. Here’s a bit of one of their days.

 

“You’re home early. How was your day?” Cassie asked, her voice rising over the noise of the shower.

“It was good. We came to a good stopping point and I decided to head home. Hmm… I’m wondering, could you use a hand in there?”

“Oh yes!” Cassie smiled broadly. “I’m sure I missed a few places.”

Tom quickly undressed and joined her. With great skill, he turned an ordinary shower into a magical experience of luscious-smelling soaps and intimate massages. Cassie leaned against Tom almost weak-kneed as he continued to run his hands over her body.

“I’m ready to call off dinner and lock the bedroom door,” she told him.

“I’m afraid that wouldn’t be polite. That and the fact that Lily is cooking a standing rib roast. But I promise not to forget where I was,” Tom assured her.

Reluctantly, they exited the shower. Cassie gave him one last kiss and asked, “Do you think young people know that you can still feel this kind of passion and desire at our age?”

Tom laughed. “I imagine it will come as a shock to many of them. And what about you? You’ve said you didn’t even think our marriage would last, much less that we couldn’t keep our hands off each other all these years later.”

“Yes, can you believe it? The one thing I’ve been wrong about since we married.”

Grabbing Cassie into a tight hug, he gave her naked bottom a swift pop. “The one thing? Girl, I’m going to need to teach you how to count.”

Saturday Spankings - Attitude adjustment

Welcome to Saturday Spankings for the week! I’m putting up snippets from the last in the Cal’s Law series, Searching for Home. This book leads right into the On the River series.

In today’s snippet Allie is upset. A series of home burglaries is threating to put her business on hold, which would devastate their finances. She also has one client who keeps making sleezy passes at her. She’s tense and worried and angry, but all she’s showing Ryan is the anger.

 

“All you’re willing to do is yell at me and tell me to go to hell. So I say there’s a serious attitude adjustment needed.”

Allie glared at him defiantly, but her inner thoughts didn’t match her outward appearance. Finally, she thought to herself. She didn’t feel she could ask for a spanking, but she needed one so badly.
