How to sell books - maybe...

 When you first contemplated writing a book, did you ever imagine that promoting would be so important? I surely didn’t. I know our blogs and posting on facebook can get our books out there, but how do we get a wider audience.  Someone may read our books and love them, but in most cases they won’t tell their neighbor or book club about it for fear they will be thought of as kinky.

Here’s my latest attempt. I made some cards on vista print. I ask some friend around the country, and the world – mostly blogging friends, if they would be willing to help out by leaving them around any places women might see them and pick one up – hair or nail salon, doctor’s offices, book stores, gyms… anywhere really. I have no idea if this might really work, but it’s been so much fun thinking of places to leave them.

I have no idea it this will really help, but I know if I had found a card like this back before I found blogs and friends with my own kink I would have slipped it into my bag and gone home and looked it up.  If I make more I’d make some additions. I didn’t put that my books could be found at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Blushing Books, but hopefully everyone knows to go to these places to find books.
