Saturday Spanking - When it hits you

I’m so happy to be at Saturday Spankings today. It’s always exciting when a new book comes out. Cassie’s Road Trip is the ninth in the Cassie series and I think it’s one Cassie fan will truly enjoy, but remember each book stands alone so you can start with this one too.

In today’s snippet it’s Cassie’s young friend Allie who had landed in serious trouble. Allie made some huge mistakes and truly put herself in danger and the spanking she received from Ryan was serious. But it was the emotions they were both feeling when it was over that made the true impression on Allie.

That’s when he stopped. I felt like I couldn’t move for a minute, then Ryan was helping me up. It was strange, I wasn’t crying even though my eyes were watering. But Ryan had tears in his eyes. “Allie, if… if… something had happened and I’d lost you. I don’t think I could stand it, if you were gone, there wouldn’t be any point.”

He was so serious, I knew he really meant it. Suddenly it hit me, we weren’t playing. For the first time I really felt like a grown woman because I could tell how much this man loved me and needed me in his life. We were a family, just the two of us, we’re a real family.
