Saturday Spankings - Questionable gift

Thanks for coming back for another Saturday Spankings! I would love to see more authors joining us out here. I’m continuing to give snippets from my latest book, Searching for Home. If you read last week’s snippet you’ll know that Jenny was furious and decided to take off with her friends for a few days – without letting Cal know. As you might imagine, Cal wasn’t happy.

“I wasn’t kidding when I said I missed you,” Cal told her. “I spent the weekend thinking of you and I made something for you.” Reaching into his back pocket, Cal brought forth a small paddle and handed it to Jenny.
Looking at it with dread, Jenny turned it over in her hand. It was slim. The paddle part was only about three inches wide and the thickness was about a half-inch. The handle felt comfortable, not that she gave a damn. But she did notice that it was sanded beautifully and smooth as silk.
“Thanks,” she told him, bravely. “I’ll hang onto it for the next time you piss me off.”
“Umm… no,” Cal told her. Taking the paddle from her, he said, “For you, I said. To be used exclusively on you. Not for you to keep. This is made from seasoned oak – one of the hardest woods around. I think it will help me get my point across.”

Saturday Spanking - Returning to Us

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I'm so excited that my latest book, Returning to Us, is finally out! I'm very proud to be part of the Corbin's Bend family.

If you took that leap at one time to ask your partner to spank you, I'm betting you will be able to relate to this book. Susan and Hal are on a journey many have traveled. Why does this lifestyle seem to have so many starts and stops? In today's snippet, Susan wonders why...

Every time he began letting things slide, every time he stopped spanking, Susan was hurt. So many negative thoughts would flood her mind, I’m not worth his time, I’m just another thing on his ‘to do’ list, I’m too needy, I’m not worth the effort and on and on. She could feel herself drawing away from Hal. She was bewildered that he could seem so enthusiastic, so caring, and then just stop. Couldn’t he see the change in her when he did that? It seemed he didn’t think a happy, healthy wife was worth the effort. At least that was the way Susan saw it.

Blurb:

After thirty-five years, Susan thought her marriage was over the morning after their last child's wedding. Hal, her husband, said he needed to talk about something important. She knew it couldn’t be good. They rarely even spoke anymore.

In the beginning they’d been so close, so passionate. Practicing domestic discipline had been a wonderful part of their lives - sometimes. But over the years it had all drifted away, even when Susan asked for what she needed. Hal would occasionally give her a mild, sexy spanking, but the real discipline she craved was a thing of the past.

Now, Hal suddenly wanted to talk about moving to Colorado to live in Corbin's Bend, a community where spanking was not only accepted, but encouraged. Could this bring back the closeness and passion they’d once had? Could Susan trust that this time Hal would truly step up?

If you’d like even more to read you could try...

Meet Cassie, a former wild child, who meets her match, and creates the match of a lifetime. Cassie has survived emotionally distant parents and an abusive marriage. Widowed young, with plenty of money, she turns her energies to partying twenty-four/seven, until Tom spots her at a party. To nearly all who know her now, Cassie is a vivacious, sweet southern lady, who is the epitome of grace and proper behavior. Look a tiny bit closer and you’ll see Cassie has another side – the one whose language could make a sailor blush as she drinks him under the table. Thanks to her loving husband Tom, who never hesitates to put Cassie over his knee when she strays too far from his view of ladylike behavior, few people other than close old friends knew this side of Cassie exists.
Cassie shares many stories of their early marriage, as she tries to adjust to Tom’s belief in the power of the hairbrush. Although Cassie agrees in theory that Tom is the head of their home, she spends much of her time doing exactly what she wants and hoping Tom won’t catch on. Over thirty years later, she still does what she wants and Tom still catches on.
Cassie still doesn’t always act like the perfect lady and doesn’t always manage to follow Tom’s rules. She sneaks off with friends to visit an ‘adult’ toy store and she has begun talking to ‘strangers’ online and blogging about the private life she and Tom share, knowing full well if Tom ever does find out she’ll be sitting sensitively for days to come.
Cassie wouldn’t change her life for anything. As she says, “There are two things I want everyone to take away from our stories. First there is nothing wrong with an old-fashioned marriage where the husband guides and protects the wife. There is nothing wrong with him being in charge. There is nothing wrong with him giving the occasional spanking to make sure his wife is fully aware of who is in charge. And, there is certainly nothing wrong with the wife trying to get away with as much as possible.
Second, and most important, I hope our stories convey that love and passion are not the sole property of the young. Love and passion grows and changes with age. While aging may bring on challenges – the love and passion between two people only grows stronger.

Or you could try the Cal’s Law Series:

Jenny is the typical rich-kid, sorority girl. Getting good grades isn’t high on her priority list. In fact, that sits well below getting into the secret faction of her sorority. To do that she must pull off a daring bit of mischief.
Cal Bennett is the town sheriff. He’s a relatively young, no-nonsense, kind of guy – with a good heart. He is the moral center of this small town in North Carolina. But when his and Jenny’s paths cross unexpectedly, things get complicated and he questions his morals and his heart.
His plan to save Jenny from herself by enforcing strict discipline seems like a sound one.  To both of them. At first. He enacts a touch of martial law and Jenny agrees to learn more than English Lit. Cooking, cleaning and laundry are but a few of her new subjects. Along with time-management, telling the truth and doing homework. Breaking any one in this new set of rules will result in a sound spanking. It all sounds simple enough when she signs on the dotted line of the contract between her and her sheriff.
But, life is messy and she is faced with one tough decision after another. She’s a college student! Shouldn’t life be easier than this? Less complicated? But she is pulled in two directions: her moral, upstanding sheriff leads her down one path, and a cute frat boy leads her down another. In one direction lies maturity, and a future. In the other, the simplicity of being a rich kid in college where Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. Now she must choose: Will she continue to let her parents pay for it all, or will she learn to pay the price for her own actions?

Saturday Spanking - Holding Court

I can’t believe it’s Saturday again. I’m still enjoying Saturday Spanking. I hope you’ll have reason to consider my books and I know I love reading everyone’s snippets to add to my TBR list.

Today’s snippet comes from EducatingJenny, the third in the Cal’s Law Series. If you’re familiar with my Cassie’sSpace Series, you’ll get some crossover in this book. Cassie and Sue have gone to visit Jenny and Allie at college. While visiting the older ladies persuaded the girls to take them to a college party. Since Allie had often talked about the ladies to her friends, the crowd at the party were eager to talk with them.

Erin sat on the ottoman in front of the ladies and peppered them with questions. Cassie and Sue seem to be in their element as more and more party goers drifted over to listen in. Allie and Jenny listened too. When Erin asked the next question, you could have heard a pin drop as the crowd waited for their answer.
“Do you all really have prostitution licenses?” Erin had inquired.
In the hush, Cassie turned to offer Sue a small smile, then turning back to the crowd of young people, she looked as regal as a queen as she answered, “We do.”
There was a murmur among their listeners, then quiet again, as both ladies began sharing the story of their ill-fated trip into a strange little Mexican town. Jenny had heard the story, now a question occurred to her.
“What ever happened to the license? Do you still have it?” she asked.
“Do I still have it? Honey, you can see it the next time you come over. It’s framed and hanging on my bedroom wall.”

Cal’s young wife, Jenny, just wants to play house with her gorgeous, dominant husband, Sheriff Cal Bennett of Beaufort County.   Cal wants her to complete one more year of college before choosing a path.  Although Jenny is tired of school, she bends to her husband’s wishes and goes off to classes in a nearby city.  On their precious days together, Cal educates his beautiful girl to the idea of sexual fantasies and bedroom toys, and here, Jenny is an eager student!

She is applying herself to her classes and showing Cal she can be responsible when, suddenly, Jenny finds herself being stalked by a mysterious police officer who views every move she makes as criminal. Everyone she cares about knows that what ensues is not Jenny’s doing, but she can’t keep herself from giving in to some sweet revenge. Her plan starts out as a silly college girl prank, but soon lands her on the wrong side of Cal’s law.

Saturday Spankings - NEW! Educating Jenny

Welcome to a special Saturday Spankings! My newest book, Educating Jenny will be out by next weekend (Amazon willing) and today I’m sharing the first excerpt from the new book. This is the third in the Cal’s Law series.  Each is a stand-alone book, but if you like knowing everything from the beginning you can begin with Cal’s Law and then Becoming Family.

I know I’m cheating horribly on the eight-sentence rule, but it is your first taste!

 Blurb:

Cal’s young wife, Jenny, just wants to play house with her gorgeous, dominant husband, Sheriff Cal Bennett of Beaufort County. Cal wants her to complete one more year of college before choosing a path.  Although Jenny is tired of school, she bends to her husband’s wishes and goes off to classes in a nearby city.  On their precious days together, Cal educates his beautiful girl to the idea of sexual fantasies and bedroom toys, and here, Jenny is an eager student!

Jenny finds herself being stalked by a mysterious police officer who views every move she makes as criminal. Everyone she cares about knows that what ensues is not Jenny’s doing, but she can’t keep herself from giving in to some sweet revenge. Her plan starts out as a silly college girl prank, but soon lands her on the wrong side of Cal’s law.

 Excerpt:

“I know you want to talk about this college thing some more. It’s stressing me out too. I’m willing to talk about it, but it might lead to a fight. So, let’s go to the bedroom for a little playtime to get us both in a good mood first. College can’t be mentioned until we come back in here, agree?”

Jenny watched Cal’s face break into a dazzling smile. “I agree. And woman, I like the way you handle stressful situations.”

“I think you’re going to like the way I handle lots of things,” Jenny assured him.

In the bedroom, Jenny began unbuttoning his shirt. The hardness of his body always impressed her and she slowly rubbed her hand over his six-pack. She undid his belt and lowered his zipper. Putting her hands inside his pants, she lowered his jeans and underwear continuing to push them down until she was on her knees.

“While I’m in the neighborhood,” she murmured. She put her mouth to his balls and gently sucked one into her mouth. Cal gasped with surprise and delight. She continued the treatment while gently stroking his erection. Jenny got to her feet. “Just a preview,” she told him, standing up.

Cal began undressing her. He loved this and he took his time. He loved every inch of her body, and many parts he chose to savor with both his eyes and his mouth. Now nude, Jenny stepped back. “On the bed,” she ordered him, “on your stomach.”

“Stomach?” he questioned.

Jen pointed and didn’t repeat herself. Cal lay down and immediately Jenny climbed over him, reaching for the lotion. “You need a good massage to get rid of all that stress,” she told him. She began smoothing the lotion into his neck and shoulders. Cal loved the feeling of her hands on him as she massaged his back then began on his legs. She worked her way up slowly and then, unable to resist, she landed a hard swat to his beautiful ass.

“Oww . . .” she cried out. “Damn, Cal, your ass is hard as a brick!”

Cal had turned to grab her wrist, “And you’re not supposed to spank it.” He laughed at her. “Here let me show you how it’s done.” He quickly pulled her across his lap and began with a few hard swats.

Saturday Spanking - Cal and Jenny meet

Welcome back to Saturday Spankings! I’m going back for the next few weeks to highlight my Cal’s Law series by giving some snippets from the first two books. The third book, Educating Jenny will be out mid-May. More details on that to come.

Today’s snippet is from the first book – Cal’s Law. Cal and Jenny first meeting wasn’t the stuff of moonlight and roses. You might say that first meeting was a bit rocky.

The sudden light in her eyes blinded her. She heard the man shout and her mind screamed in panic with only one thought, get away! In her terror, she sprinted for the door but the man was on her. His arm snaked around her waist and she was yanked backwards and off her feet. She dropped her bag in her mad effort to get away but she was half dragged, half carried back into the bedroom. She let out one strangled scream and the man tightened his grip pushing all the air from her lungs.
He pulled her to the dresser as he fumbled inside the top drawer. Her mind was still reeling when she felt cold steel on her wrist and another wave of sheer panic shot through her as she realized she was now being handcuffed to the bed. Every story she’s ever heard about kidnap and rape raced through her mind.
Once she was secured the man stepped away from her and back toward the dresser. His eyes were cold and hard. He could hurt her badly and her eyes swept the room looking for an escape. Nothing! There was no hope, finally her eyes came back to the man and she saw the gun lying on the dresser by his hand.
Fear froze her as the man began firing questions at her, “Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my house? Damn! I could have blown your frigging head off. And what the hell are you doing with my shoe?” Jenny looked down to see that she was still clutching the man’s shoe she had so quietly slipped into the closet to take.
