Saturday Spanking - Let me give you a hand

I missed last Saturday, but I’m happy to be back with a new snippet today. I’m bringing you bits and pieces from my Cassie’s Space series. I’ve pulled this from Cassie’s River Living, book four.
Cassie took the boat our alone and during a storm – a definite no-no in Tom’s book. When she finally makes it home, soaking wet and cold, Allie offers to help her bathe. Tom says Allie’s offer isn’t necessary, he’ll give Cassie a hand.

Even in my worried state, this exchange struck me funny. I felt like they were about to play tug-o-war with me in the middle. I knew how much trouble I was in, so I chimed in trying to keep things light, “Well Ryan, before you offer to help me bathe, let me assure you all that I can bathe myself. Now make sure one of those pizzas is a meat lovers.” I quickly headed to the bedroom, with Tom right behind me.
I took a shower. The idea of a bath was too quiet, does that make sense? I stood there in the steaming water wishing the day had never happened, wishing it were tomorrow, wishing Tom wasn’t mad and would join me in the shower. None of my wishes came true.
When I turned off the shower and stepped out, Tom was there with a large towel. The ivory hairbrush was on the vanity. I clutched the towel and hissed in a whisper, “No Tom, please! Not with the children in the kitchen.”
“One of the reasons I had our suite soundproofed,” was all he said as he ignored my protest and bent me over the vanity.
I hate, and Tom knows I hate and despise, being spanked anywhere other than his lap. I am not even fond of being bent over the bed much less this cold, unforgiving marble. There is no contact, no warmth, no hint of comfort and love. It’s hateful!

Saturday Spanking - Shock for Cassie

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I’m just finishing up a new book which will combine many characters my readers have come to know. Both from the Cassie’s Space series and my Cal’s Law series. It’s not quite done, but I’m continuing here to introduce some of you to probably my favorite two characters, Cassie and Tom. This is from book three of the series and definitely one of my favorites, Cassie on the Move.
With the secret help from her neighbor’s Cassie is dressed as a pirate wench for their first Halloween on the river. She was a little unsure how straight-laced Tom will take to the idea. She finds out when he sees her crossing the lawn all dressed up and he calls to her to, ‘Get in the house!’

I couldn’t help being a little angry with Tom. There was no reason he had to be so stuffy all the time. He had sounded annoyed, almost angry, from the window. I only hoped he would be discreet in front of Kate and Allie. They had worked so hard pulling all this together. I was afraid Tom would embarrass me and hurt their feelings.
Hateful feelings churned in me as I heard him come down and I turned my back to the stairs. Looking away from Tom was something I often did when I was annoyed with him because I knew it aggravated him.
He spoke my name as he came into the room, but I was angry by then and I didn’t turn around. I was startled when he barked sharply, “Cassie Jane, look at me when I’m speaking to you.”
I’m not a child. I threw caution to the wind as I wheeled around to attack before he could. But when I turned I was utterly speechless at what was before my eyes.
Never in my wildest dreams! My Tom, dressed in full pirate regalia. He looked incredible. I could only stand and stare. He had on a puffed-sleeve shirt with a leather vest, and a sash was at his waist as well as a very real-looking sword. High leather books came nearly to his knees. I had a hard time taking it all in. Looking back at his face, I saw a delightful glint in his eye as I spotted the earring in his ear. Tom with an earring – not a sight I’d ever thought I’d see in this lifetime. I don’t believe the man had ever looked better.
That old pirate stalked right over to me and kissed me in front of everyone. I just couldn’t take my eyes off him. Lingering at my ear, he whispered, “Far too much cleavage for a lady, but we’ll discuss that later tonight.”

Saturday Spanking - When frustrations boil over

We’re back for another Saturday Spanking. Today’s snippet is from my latest book, Returning to Us, in the Corbin’s Bend series. I explored a lot of different feelings in this book. Susan wants a domestic discipline relationship, Hal says he wants the same thing. But Hal seems to always let things slide making Susan feel hurt and frustrated.
At a party Susan drinks a little more than usual and curses loudly in front of the other guests. Hal chooses that incident to call Susan down and all her hurt and frustrations come out at once.

“What did you say to me? What did you say to me? How dare you! How dare you tell me to settle down? How dare you tell me anything?” All three in the kitchen stepped back at the anger and venom in Susan’s voice.
“I’ve spent years asking, begging, pleading for a true DD relationship, but you’ve made it loud and clear you want nothing to do with the real thing. And now you think you can tell me …” Susan stopped to take a ragged breath before plunging on again.
“I’ve wanted to listen to you, lean on you. I wanted to explore my submissive side – I’ve wanted that all my life. But you’ve made it clear you aren’t interested. All I’ve gotten from you was that the real thing was too damn much trouble and you’re not going to bother.”
Susan’s voice was breaking now and sobs interrupted her tirade. “I didn’t accept that for years… I kept talking, emailing… begging… we even came here!” Susan turned away and grabbed a dishtowel. She cried into it trying to get her breath.
Turning back, her face contorted with rage. She finished with, “You don’t want the real thing, so you fucking well can’t tell me what to do now!”

Saturday Spanking - Why?

Welcome to Saturday Spankings once again. Maybe it’s time to begin loading your Kindle for you summer reading. Look over my books and those of the others listed below.  I’m jumping back and forth on Saturdays between my Cassie’s Space series and my latest book, Returning to Us – my first in the Corbin’s Bend series.Today I'm in Returning to Us.
Susan sits contemplating her situation on her hike, trying to understand her desire for a domestic discipline relationship. Maybe some of us have wondered some of the same things…

Still in a meditative state, Susan thought, When Hal spanks me regularly, even if it’s a hard spanking for something serious, I know Hal has is there for me. I feel happier about life in general. I feel loved and cared for. When Hal takes charge in that way, it makes me want to step up and do better for myself.
Susan continued to let ideas tumble through her mind until one kept repeating itself unrelentingly.
Why?
Why to all of it? she wondered. Why do I want to be controlled, why do I want my husband to be dominant, why do I long to be spanked and why in the hell do I want to be punished?
As Susan sat, letting all these questions flow through her mind, only one answer surfaced. It didn’t matter. She could ask why all day long and never get an answer she or anyone else could truly understand. All she knew was that it was true and that was what mattered. It’s what I want. This longing has been with me forever and it’s not going away. The longer Susan sat thinking the more firmly she realized that for her this wasn’t simply a want, it was a need. A deep need.

Saturday Spanking - Not everyone understands

I’m happy to be back with another Saturday Spanking and I’m glad you chose to come by. For the next few weeks I’m celebrating the release of my Cassie’s Space series in paperback by going back and using snippets from each of the books. Today’s snippet comes from book two, Cassie’s Tale.
Tom followed Cassie and the girls after the girls slipped out of the country for a quick trip. He expressed his displeasure in his usual way. This was early in their marriage and her friends understood nothing about a domestic discipline lifestyle. Cassie knows this lifestyle truly works in her marriage – even if it’s painful at times.

I tried my best, but I after all the crying and sleeping, I couldn’t completely erase all traces of my tears. My friends could also tell I was sitting tenderly.
The girls were furious. I let them rant a bit to get it out of their systems. Finally, I told them, “All right, it’s time to drop it. It’s over and I’m just fine.”
“You are not fine,” Sue snapped. “It’s plain to see he beat the shit out of you!”
I don’t have the temper I used to, but asinine statements like that can push me over the edge, and it was with cold fury that I came back at her.
“I think you need to shut up. I’ve lived with a man who beat me and you all remember that time. Think about it, right now. Remember what it was like. Remember what Iwas like.”
They all quieted as they remembered a time we all wanted to forget, a Cassie we all wanted to forget. I left them there for a moment.
“All right, snap out of it. Is that how you’d describe me now?” Gradually small smiles played on their faces and, grudgingly, Annie muttered, “I think you and Tom are the happiest couple I know.” Sue didn’t want to agree, so she said nothing.
“You all know Tom would never hurt me, so leave me alone and get off Tom’s back.”

Saturday Spanking - Role playing

It’s Saturday again! I love the weekends and I love Saturday Spankings! I’m always looking for new reading material and this is an excellent place to find what I want. He’s a bit from my first attempt at a Corbin’s Bend book, Returning to Us. You really need to try all the books in this series.
Susan and Hal have their ups and downs, but they keep working on their relationship. This snippet show them trying a little role playing…

Wish I was wearing heavy jeans instead of yoga pants was Susan’s last thought before the evil paddle found its mark. “Owww…” Susan yelled, though her first choice of words was nearly shit!
Hal gave her four sharp spanks and then asked her, “Have you learned your lesson? Are you ready to say, ‘I’m sorry Mr. Allen, I was very naughty’?”
Susan took a deep breath, shuffling her feet to try to ease some of the sting. Still bent over the couch, she said in a clear voice, “I’m sorry Mr. Allen… that you’re an old fart!”
She heard Hal’s sharp breath and a slight chuckle before he said, “Very well.”
Susan nearly bit the couch when Hal let loose with eight hard swats. She stomped her feet in agony, desperately wanting to rub her burning ass.
In a deep voice, Hal asked her once again, “Are you ready to say, ‘I’m sorry Mr. Allen, I was very naughty?”
Susan continued to breathe deeply as Hal waited for her answer. He was enjoying himself greatly. As they had started back into this lifestyle he always worried he would go too far, take Susan beyond her limits. But he knew better than to ask her to say when it was enough. It seemed to anger her.
“Don’t do that!” she’d snapped in the past. “That puts all the responsibility and control right back on me and that’s what I’m trying to get rid of!”
Playing like this allowed Susan to call a halt to things without having to actually do it.
“No!” Susan suddenly shouted. “I still think you’re an old fart!”
