Saturday Spankings - December 13

Yeah, it’s Saturday again! I’m soon going to be off for Christmas and I’m going to have time to read. I’m looking forward to all today’s snippets.

Today my snippet is from the soon to be released fifth Cassie book, Cassie’s Conflicts. Last week I told you Cassie was having trouble with Clara, another member of the new club. Tom expressed his displeasure in his own way, both for Cassie confronting Clara and also for spending the afternoon drinking and plotting with Sue.

Cassie really tries to avoid the woman, but coming out of the club one day Cassie sees Clara berating the young people from the church, including Ryan and Allie, who are having a bake sale. Cassie impatiently waits at her car for Clara to move on before she joins the children.

Clara eventually headed straight past my car. I clamped my mouth shut determined not to get involved. But I couldn’t stop myself from giving her a hateful stare as she passed.

She caught sight of me and snarled, “What the hell are you staring at Granny?”

“One sorry assed, hateful bitch,” I blurted out.

Heaven help me – I had no idea I was going to say that until I heard it come out of my mouth.

“Bitch?” she shouted, seemingly outraged at what I had just said, and headed straight toward me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ryan and Allie come out from behind the tables running our way. Before they could reach us Clara slapped me, hard, across the face.
