With any luck Cassie's Life will be out by Friday at the latest, and I can't wait! Today we're hearing some questions for Cassie and Lily. Lily has rechristened Cassie and Sue as Missy and Miss Priss.
For Cassie:
If you could relive one
memory from your and Tom's relationship, which would it be?
I don’t think I would.
Every memory we share is etched in my mind – both the good and the bad. My
favorite is always the one that comes next.
What is the one punishment
Tom has given you that you truly regretted what you had done the most?
PK tells about it in
this latest book. I’ve never regretted anything more.
This reader loves to
hear about the people that become your "family." Lily is a
recent addition to that family, and your relationship with her goes way past
that of an employer and an employee. What role does Lily fill for you
emotionally?
Of course, Lily became
a dear friend very early in our acquaintance. It wasn’t long until she became
family. With few blood relativities Tom and I have always created our ‘family’
from those we love. But to delve a tiny bit further, strange as it seems, Lily
is like a mother to me and to Sue both. Yes, we’re several decades her senior.
But the constant fussing and scolding combined with the love and care she
provides – mothering is the closest term for it all. Sue’s mother died when she
was two and my mother was always distant. Lily fills a void we didn’t know existed.
For Lily: do you think Tom takes Cassie in hand often enough? Why
or why not?
I reckon he takes
charge enough. He makes her listen and she needs that. But at the same time,
she can wrap that man ‘round her little finger. She gets away with more than
she should. But when he does get firm, they ain’t no getting around him. I
don’t like it when he whips her, no matter what you call it or what she’d done. But I have to keep
my mouth shut.
Which couple is your
favorite to work for and why?
I can’t answer that.
It’s like asking which of your children you like best. I love ’em all equal.
Now Miss Annie, she’s a saint and I can’t say that about Missy and Miss Priss,
but they do keep life interesting. I’ll say that. Now Missy and Mr. Tom keep their house the neatest when I ain't there. Well, I guess I should say Mr. Tom does.
If you could change one
thing about Cassie or Sue what would it be?
I sure wish they wouldn’t drink. That ain’t good for nobody and they each have some medical problems that it ain’t helping.

If you have any questions for any of my characters, and don't forget Cal and Jenny, please ask away. I hope you'll read Cassie's Life. Maybe that will bring some questions to mind. You can ask in comments or you can email me at pk.corey@yahoo.com
