Saturday Spankings - Cassie's Thoughts

I’m happy to be back for Saturday Spankings again. I hope you'll read all the snippets and find just what you’re looking for to load your Kindle. I’m putting up a snippet from Cassie’s Life today.
In this snippet, Cassie has had a hard few days dealing with a blackmailer, the police and Tom’s shock. In this last snippet I put up, Cassie has let Tom know that she needs a spanking even though Tom had been willing to let it go. Once she told him it was something she needed, Tom knew he was the only one who could help.

I rarely cry during a spanking, but I often do once it’s over. The tears were coming early and I let them silently flow. When he reached for the brush beside him my tears became sobs and I knew Tom was conflicted. Usually by this time in a spanking I’m shouting for him to stop, or telling him that’s enough or promising to never again do whatever I’m being spanked for. But this time I’d said nothing.
I felt Tom sigh and he rubbed for a moment before he began with the brush. He didn’t go easy, for which I was grateful, but neither did he use it for long. By the time Tom pulled me up into his arms the sobs were taking my breath away and he held me on his lap for the longest time, rubbing my back and telling me how much he loved me.
Finally, he lay me softly on the bed and pulled up our throw. He brought a cool washcloth and bathed my face. My bottom hurt, throbbing with each heartbeat, even as my heart swelled with love for this wonderful man. Now it was over. Case closed, sealed in our own special way.

Cassie’s Life (Book 10)

Ask Cassie about her life on the river and she’ll tell you it’s lovely and peaceful. But while Cassie loves the life she lives, peaceful is not always an accurate description. Whether she’s confronting an armed man who’s in a drunken rage, planning a friend’s wedding or dealing with a ghost in a backwoods lodge, Cassie is going to deal with it the best way she knows how. And peaceful doesn’t always work.
When a mysterious phone call comes for Cassandra Wentworth – Cassie’s past is suddenly back to haunt her in a devastating way. Tom has always said nothing from before the time they met counts, but he didn’t know about this.  Sue, Annie, Allie and Jenny are all willing to help, but will it be enough?

Saturday Spankings - Last Dance

Thanks for coming by for another Saturday Spanking, a blog hop where you can read snippets from many different authors out here. I’m taking my snippet today from Cassie’s Life, my latest in the Cassie’s Space Series.
Last week Cassie and the girls were at a very interesting ‘dance hall’ hearing all about the regulars. You can read that here. A few more regulars showed up – as Cassie described them… The lady did indeed look as though she had once been a prom queen, probably around the mid 1960’s. Evidently she felt that was her peak look and her hair was in a somewhat modified bee hive style. She had a slim figure and was dressed quite stylishly for the hardware. She swept in like she owned the place and judging from the greetings she received, she most likely did.
The gentleman with her was interesting in his own right. He was a tall well-built man, quite good looking. He was wearing jeans, a crisply ironed black shirt and a black cowboy hat. When he turned to speak to someone we saw he had a long white ponytail. As he looked back our way he spotted our row and his eyes lit up and he have us all a big smile.
The prom queen noticed us too and was defiantly not happy. She actually took the man’s face in her hand and turned it back to her. With two fingers, she pointed to his eyes, then back to herself. Letting him know in no uncertain terms where he was supposed to be looking.
But during the evening he did manage to dance with both Cassie and Sue, after which our ladies decided to leave…

Heading to our car we’d gone no more than past a couple of stores when we heard a woman behind us loudly saying, “You bitches better be running.” Sue and I both came to a dead stop, then turned around slowly to face the prom queen.
“What did you just say to us?” I inquired in my most menacing voice.
I heard Lily, farther up the street mutter, “Oh, Lord.”
I addressed her once again, “Do we look like we’re running?”
The prom queen seemed startled when we’d turned to confront her. Sue and I headed back toward her, quickly backed up by Annie, Allie and Jenny. Lily was heading our way too and I could still hear her praying. The queen seemed to lose her bluster quickly.
“Y’all just stay away from him, hear? He’s mine,” she told us as she looked around for reinforcements.
“Listen honey, every last one of us has a better man than your ponytailed friend. We didn’t ask him to dance, he asked us. If you don’t like it, put a collar and leash on him the next time you bring him,” I told her.

Saturday Spankings - Almost made it

Welcome to Saturday Spankings once again. I hope you’ll read snippets from each on the blogs listed below. This is really a good place to find some great books and the snippets help you see which one are more to your taste.
In my snippet last week from Cassie's Life, Cassie and Sue broke into a hotel. Today I’m trying to get them out!

Getting out didn’t seem much easier than getting in as we tried various positions. Finally, Allie instructed Sue, “Just sit in the window and lean back we’ll catch you.”
“I’m going to break even bone in my damn body,” Sue muttered.
“No you won’t, it’s like a trust fall. We got you,” Allie assured her.
Sue rolled her eyes, took a deep breath and eased back through the window with me holding her hands to slow the fall. Allie and Jenny waiting below, arms linked caught her perfectly and eased her to her feet.
“Piece of cake,” Sue told me. “It’s really not that far.”
Hoping she was correct I sat in the window, I glanced back. “You ready?” I asked.
“We’re here,” Allie told me, “lean back.” I did as I was told. Without someone holding me back I hit a little harder than Sue had and though the girls caught me neatly they sank to their knees and lay me gently on the ground.
It was at that moment that I heard a commanding male voice say, “Hold it right there, don’t move. Keep your hands where I can see them.”
