F is for fantasy

I’ve lived on fantasies all my life. Before I was old enough for sexual fantasies, I just called it daydreaming. I enjoyed living in my head and I know I used to do it too much, I often still do. I’ve found that the very best thing about fantasies is that if you have a willing partner, they can often come true.

My greatest piece of advice, don’t do what my husband sometimes fusses at me about, “You had to wait and tell me all this as I was in my mid-fifties, you couldn’t have shared while I was in my prime?”  I wish I’d shared earlier, but then we might not have had that wonderful spark we needed as we were adjusting to the empty nest. Maybe all things just work out in their own time.

  5. F for Fantasy, why didn't I think of that. Ah, some are very young to discover what they want, some use a little more time. It is the time you have now that counts. Enjoy and make the best of it. Who knows what the reason was, maybe if you two were just not ready for it? Maybe you both needed the time.

Take your time now, Wonderful post.

    1. It was at the right time for us, but Nick doesn't mind spanking occasionally for me not coming out earlier - not that I mind!

  6. All good things to those who wait! No point in wasting time regretting what you didn't do - enjoy it now that you do do!

    1. I waited and it did come and like I told Han, I sometimes get a good spanking for the wait. A real win - win situation.

  7. Great post and advice PK...maybe Nick would not have been as open as he thinks he would have been in his so-called prime. BTW...if you are enjoying it, you are in your prime! :D

    1. So very true! But I really have no regrets, If I'd been more opened then I wouldn't be the same person I am now.

  9. I definitely live in my head a lot of the time. It's an interesting place to be.

I think you are such a brilliant example of how any point in your life is a good point to make changes. Far better to embrace something wholeheartedly in your fifties than to never do it all.
