A good Spanking

It’s true, I deserve a good spanking – maybe even a bad one. I’ve completely neglected the Reading Room lately. In by other life (not necessarily real life) I’m a teacher and we’re really gearing up to torture the students with mind-numbing, useless, excessive, end of the year tests. It keeps me busy. Our spring break is at Easter so I’m really looking forward to that week off. Hopefully I’ll even get caught up – or close, anyway.

This is a very special weekend. I’m hopping on a plane this morning to go meet Leigh Smith. We’ve been friends on line for several years now, but this will be the first time we’ve met face to face. I'm looking forward to this and I hope we won’t be needing bail – but thanks to Donna Steele for offering just in case.

I’ll be back next weekend with Saturday Spanking!

Saturday Spankings - March 15

I’m happy to be at Saturday Spankings today. I love to share snippets and reading yours. I’m not going to be around for a couple of weeks so I’m going to be going through withdrawal for a while, but I’ll be back! Then I hope to share some snippets from book three, which should be out in May.

In today's snippet, Sue wanted some new spanking toys now that she and Steve were doing some tentative experimenting. Cassie refused to go back to the sex shop with her, but eagerly bet Sue that she could find her ten new spanking toys at Wal-Mart. On the next girl’s trip they head to Wal-Mart. Sue’s mood soured as Cassie found item after item, part of the bet was that Steve had to use each one. After the obviously choices like a hairbrush and a good spatula, Cassie’s choices became more creative.

For my last implement I chose a long yellow bungee cord – thanks to several friends mentioning them on the blogs. Sue nearly exploded as she hissed, “Just what the hell is that for?”
I couldn’t resist, taking the two ends in one hand I swatted Sue across the butt with the loop. “Son of a bitch!” she shouted. She rubbed her butt and glared at me as if she was about to attack while the rest of us laughed hysterically. Have you ever come close to being thrown out of Wal-Mart for unruly behavior?
Sue rubbed her butt on and off for the rest of the evening and I loved it, as far as I can remember, it’s the only time I’ve ever swatted anyone. I collected money and made sure every one of our purchases was neatly packed into Sue’s bag. I knew she would keep her word, but she wasn’t happy about it, and I’d be looking forward to a full report at our next meeting.

Read Cassie’s Space or Cassie’s Tale to learn more about Cassie, Tom and the whole gang.

Cassie continues to live life to the fullest, from wheeling around in her new sports car to mastering the art of riding a motor scooter with no hands, she manages to keep Tom on his toes. The fly in the ointment is that Tom’s firm wants him back for a project and Cassie wants him all to herself.  When Tom takes the job, Cassie is left lonely and bored – never a good combination for her.
Left to her own devices Cassie makes some poor decisions, frightening Sue and causing Tom to lower the boom. Tom's new schedule for Cassie, including her getting a job, leaves her little time to get herself in trouble – yet she still manages.

Meet Cassie, a former wild child, who meets her match, and creates the match of a lifetime. To nearly all who know her now, Cassie is a vivacious, sweet southern lady, who is the epitome of grace and proper behavior. Look a tiny bit closer and you’ll see that Cassie has another side – the one whose language could make a sailor blush as she drinks him under the table.
Thanks to her loving husband Tom, who even after thirty years of marriage, never hesitates to put Cassie over his knee when she strays too far from his view of ladylike behavior, few people other than close old friends know this side of Cassie exists.
Cassie and Tom show that love and passion are not the sole property of the young. Love and passion grows and changes with age. While aging may bring on challenges – the love and passion between these two people only grows stronger.

So what does Cassie look like?

Cat asked:
If a movie were to be made about Tom and Cassie, who do you picture for their characters...oh and how about for the rest of the crew?

This is something I’ve wondered about myself for years. Cassie I’ve had in my head forever, not so much the others. The looks I have for them in my head could be portrayed by the following people, but in real life they aren’t all the right age.  Sometime you want to keep your own image  for the characters you read. I understand, I usually do, but if you want to know how I picture Annie, Sue, Tom and finally Cassie, scroll on down…

(And I'm still taking questions if you have any.)

Saturday Spankings, March 8

It’s been a long week, I’m very happy to see Saturday come around again. I like reading snippets and I like having a place to share my own. I’m coming to the end of the third Cassie book. I hope you’re enjoying getting to know her, Tom and their friends. Today’s snippet is from Cassie’s Tale, the second in the series.
When Tom finished a job he was in such a good playful mood he decided he and Cassie needed new spanking toys. This is something he’d not done before and Cassie was a bit surprised – two toys in particularly were not to her liking. Sadly one morning they ended up destroyed. Cassie assumes maybe her butt was simply too tough for them, or as speculated to herself…

Well, it was either my butt or my pruning shears, I’m not sure exactly which one caused the most damage, but as Tom came in from his run that morning, he found them each in about ten small pieces on the kitchen table.
I heard him laughing clean upstairs as he shouted, “Cassie what have you done?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about,” I told him as I joined him in the kitchen. Spotting the carnage on the breakfast table I added, “Goodness, what happened to your toys? I suppose they fell apart from sever use. They just don’t make toys like they used to, sorry for your loss dear, but it’s not really my concern.”
“Malicious destruction, that’s what this is and it’s about to be your concern.” I laughed between yelps of pain as Tom applied the new spoon to my behind as he bent me over the counter. The man had way too much time on his hands.
