Saturday Spankings - A Deception

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m moving on to book six of the Cassie’s Space Series, Cassie’s Influence. Cassie and Sue need to do some shopping before the gang head off for California. They shopped, dined and got home safe and sound and that should have been the end of it. But Cassie’s darling husband, Tom, doesn’t miss much…

I barely washed my face. I was worn out. I slipped my shoes off my aching feet and padded to the bed. Tom undressed the rest of me. Lying back in the bed felt like floating on a cloud. I was so comfortable and content. I snuggled down on the bed as Tom began rubbing my back. It felt like heaven as Tom quietly talked to me about his day and his evening. It would have been the end of the perfect day had my sweet husband not decided to give me a foot massage.

Pulling the covers from my feet I heard a surprised sound. Then Tom asked sharply, "Cassie, what did you do to your feet?"

My feet? What was wrong with my feet? Self-preservation told me being asleep was my best bet. So I began muttering as if I were fading fast. "They're fine."

"They're swollen, badly."

Oh, that was not good. I hadn't even realized that they were swollen. Gracious, how many husbands would have even noticed? This was going to take some finesse. In my vagueness, sleepiest voice I murmured, "Walking…"

"Walking doesn't cause your feet to swell. They only swell when you fly. Girl, where did you go today?" His voice was no longer gentle. "Cassie, answer me."

There was no way I was saying another word. I stopped muttering and just concentrated on breathing slowly and deeply. I needed time to think. I knew the whole story was probably going to come out, but putting that moment off was the only thing on my mind.

Still standing beside me, Tom lay his hand on my naked bottom. "I know you're not asleep. We'll wait until morning if that's the way you want it. But understand this, pretending to be asleep is just one more deception."

Blurb:

Intentionally or not, Cassie’s influence spreads. Sue’s marriage has improved through Cassie’s influence. However, when Sue’s marriage unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse, Sue pushes for the solution she feels will work, a solution that could put Cassie on a collision course with the ivory brush.

Allie and Ryan are both feeling influence from Cassie and Tom. Cassie doesn't mean to lead Allie astray - but Allie sees Cassie as a role model. Every adventure, old or new, captures Allie's attention, which increases her desire to be more like her mentor. But for better or worse, Ryan is just as determined to be like Tom.

Blurb:

Esme has her heart set on one man. Unfortunately, he’s a pirate. Her only hope in catching his attention is to do something drastic and risk her life. Relying on the loathsome act of pressganging, she uses her disguise to gain access to his ship. However, Captain Flynn Bartoc has other plans for Esme, and she’s not going to win anyone’s heart if she’s tied up in his cabin.

Excerpt

Esme stumbled through the door into the cabin. Behind her, the key rattled in the lock.

“Now, Esme, since you’re intent on making trouble with my new hands, you’ll have to pay the penalty.”

“I’ve done nothing wrong.” She folded her arms across her chest.

“You have not kept yourself silent on deck.” He towered a whole head above her.

She pouted. “Meaning?”

“Screeching, for one thing. Like a parrot.”

“I do not.” She stomped her foot. “I’m just as capable as any other pirate. I led those dozen men here to you, did I not? They followed me because they thought I was a robber and were happy to carry out my orders to board the ship. What makes you think I can’t command your hands if needed?”

Creases of laughter formed around his eyes. All she wanted to do was join his crew, and he belittled her. Before she could stop herself, she pooled a mouthful of spittle onto her tongue. Her feeble attempt at spitting failed dismally. It dribbled onto the floor between them. Flynn’s grinning face transformed into a frown of disgust.

“Do you remember what I said about punishing you?” he said quietly.

She lowered her arms to her sides. Her knees nearly gave out. “Not a flogging, please, sir…” Tears pricked her eyes. Perhaps in her eagerness to be one of the hands, she’d gone too far with her jockeying.

Flynn tipped up face with the end of his finger. “I might have said rapscallion. But I certainly didn’t imply that you should be one in my cabin, especially as I intend to let you sleep here for your own safety. Perhaps I should tie you to the mast and let the hands decide how to punish you?”

“No, please, I will behave. I’ll not say a word out there. I’ll peel potatoes and stir pots. Just don’t throw me overboard—”

He laughed. “Overboard? Lass, many believe we pirates are the worst scum to take to the seas, but throwing pretty things overboard would be a tragedy. However, teaching you a valuable lesson is not. We’ll resume where we left off, shall we?”

“Left off?”

“You spat at me, and I believe that deserves a spanking.”

Saturday Spankings - Allie's evil side surfaces

Glad to have you back for Saturday Spankings. In today’s snippet from Cassie’s Conflict, the fifth in the Cassie’s Space series, Cassie, Sue and Annie are on a girls’ trip. An excited Allie had also been invited along. Despite a forty-something year age difference Allie loves spending time with the older ladies.

In this snippet they have all gone to a waterpark. Cassie, Sue and Annie are relaxing in the shade as Allie sunbathed a short distance away. A young boy has used several lame pickup lines to get Allie’s attention. Cassie and the girls got to see the wicked side of their sweet little Allie.

We couldn’t hear everything, but finally we heard Allie say quite clearly, “Sorry, I’m here with my girlfriends and I’m not ditching them.”

“How many?” he asked enthusiastically. “I’ve got some friend here too. Maybe we can all hang out.”

“Well, maybe,” Allie answered, giving us a slight glance. “There’re four of us. Are your friends good looking? My friends are hot. They’re a little older. Will your friends mind?”

“No, no, that’ll be great. Where are your friends?” The boy was like Pavlov’s dog to a dinner bell.

“You go get your friends first, my friends will come if they’re hot enough, trust me.” The boy nearly tripped over himself as he took off. Allie glanced over at us with a small shrug. Less than ten minutes later we saw them headed our way. They were an adorable group of boys. They seemed a little younger than Allie, sixteen or seventeen maybe.

They eagerly gathered around Allie and the original boy asked, “So, where are they?”

“Are you sure?” she asked. “They’re older than you, but they do kinda like younger guys.”

“Hey, no problem,” they assured her.

Allie raised her hand and motioned us over. We were ready and went into the full act. “Oh boys,” we cooed. “You are all just the cutest little things! Now what are your names?” Sue grabbed one and claimed, “This one’s mine. Now, honey, where do you go to school?” Annie and I each cornered one and began asking about their grades, their hobbies, their pets and on and on. We had those poor boys stammering and blushing and looking around wildly for an escape. I’m afraid we were shameless. Allie was over to the side grinning quietly and the boy who had originally talked with her stood there with his mouth opened.

I saw Allie turn to him and ask, “They really don’t mind about them being older?”

Daryl Devoré - Two O'clock with the Billionaire

Daryl Devore

Two O’clock with the Billionaire

Arianne’s just regular girl pushed into a corner and desperately looking for a way out.

Two O’clock with the Billionaire, billionaire romance, hot read, sex, #hotread, #billionaireromance, Daryl Devore, #daryldevore

Two O’clock with the Billionaire is a prime example of what happens when a story takes over. This was just supposed to be a sweet little romance, but it turns out Derek and Arianne had other ideas.

Excerpt –

“Women!” Derek snapped his cell phone shut and threw it onto his night table. He untied his blue-striped silk tie and tossed it onto the bed. In moments, his Italian-cut three-piece suit lay equally flung aside. Pulling open the bottom dresser drawer, he removed a fraying college sweatshirt and a pair of faded blue jeans. After lacing up his well-worn sneakers and ruffling his groomed hair, he stared at his reflection in his full-length mirror. The transformation from chairman of the board to construction worker took less than five minutes. Grabbing his wallet, he removed his driver’s license, one charge card, and thirty-five dollars and placed them into an old brown wallet. He stuffed it into his back-hip pocket, grabbed his cell phone and exited his bedroom.

Donning his jacket with the New York Rangers team’s logo, he checked the pocket for his car keys, then rode his private elevator down to the basement parking garage. He walked past his three expensive imports, unlocked the rusted, dark blue Camaro and drove out of the upper rich side.

Traffic was a beast. Snow had fallen all day. The roads were slippery and regular people were anxious to get home. Not Derek. He headed to Charlie’s, a topless bar on the corner of don’t know and don’t care.

Blurb and Buy Links

Two O’clock with the Billionaire is one of Daryl Devoré’s hot romances. A contemporary romance sweetened with a bit of vanilla sexcapades.

Where Derek Davenport is concerned, women only had one thing in mind: trap him into a marriage. The perfect way out? Hire a courtesan. While partying with his buddies he places an online ad that reads – Woman Wanted.

Unemployed and nearing financial desperation, Arianne is forced to step out of her comfort zone and answers an ad that reads Woman Wanted. With minimal hours and excellent pay, she accepts the position of courtesan to a handsome billionaire.

Their sexual antics cause emotions neither is willing to admit it. Will Arianne and Derek drive each other crazy…or will they fall in love first?

Saturday Spankings - The Danger of Fighting

I’m glad you’re here for another Saturday Spankings. My snippet is from the fifth Cassie’s Space book, Cassie’s Conflict.

In my post last week show how the ‘fight’ began between Tom and Cassie. This snippet picks up just a short time later. If you haven’t read that snippet, click here. Tom is ready to get Cassie back to the hotel but she’s still mad not ready to go.

“I’m not leaving. I’ll go when I’m damn good and ready,” I replied coldly.

Tom stopped dancing and looked me straight in the eye. “You better be good and ready within thirty seconds or I’m going to put you over my knee and wear you out right here and now.”

Would he have? Would he have really? At our age? In front of our friends and his colleagues? Surely not. But I wasn’t ready to find out for sure. I followed Tom to the table to tell the others we were leaving. Andy said, “We’re right behind you.” But we didn’t wait.

It was not a relaxing walk back. I could feel my heart pounding. Surely Tom was too angry to do any spanking when we reached the hotel. I knew he was still very upset with me and unfortunately I was just as upset with him, but with much less recourse.

“Tom, are we going to talk? Are you going to listen to me?”

“Cassie Jane, I can’t think of a thing you could possible say that’s going to keep me from wearing you out.”

I didn’t want to return to the hotel at all. I had to have a minute to breathe and gather myself. I wasn’t thinking clearly at all. We were across the street from the beach. I needed the beach. I wanted to run. Just long enough to clear the anger away. Of course, Tom’s the runner in the family, but given enough incentive I’m not a bad sprinter. I could kick off my sandals the minute I hit the sand. Bare foot in a lightweight dress, I felt like I could outdistance Tom in his suit and street shoes.

I didn’t want to give Tom any warning of what I was planning. I needed to take him completely off guard so I turned in an instant and ran – directly in the path of an oncoming car.

Suddenly everything in my world faded away except the lights of the car bearing down on me and the sound of the screaming tires.
