Saturday Spankings - July 26

Saturday again and more snippets! It’s still going to be a while before book four is out so I’m going to continue on where I left off last week with another snippet from the second book, Cassie’s Tale. Last week Sue was terrified when she found Cassie covered in blood – you can find that snippet here.  I don’t want to give away too much, but I will tell you Cassie is okay – even if Sue may not be.

Sue’s phone rang. She glanced at it and then at me and I panicked. “Don’t tell him. Sue, please don’t say anything – I’m fine, just tell him that,” I pleaded.
If looks could kill, I would’ve been dead at my kitchen table. Sue stalked out the door and slammed it behind her. I found out soon enough that she spilled her guts. Sue and I would do anything in this world to protect one another and we have no qualms about keeping things secret from husbands, but I’m afraid I frightened her too badly.

Next week we hear a little of what Tom had to say.

There are three Cassie books now (soon to be four!) - I hope you'll read them all.

Meet Cassie, a former wild child, who meets her match, and creates the match of a lifetime. To nearly all who know her now, Cassie is a vivacious, sweet southern lady, who is the epitome of grace and proper behavior. Look a tiny bit closer and you’ll see that Cassie has another side – the one whose language could make a sailor blush as she drinks him under the table.
Thanks to her loving husband Tom, who even after thirty years of marriage, never hesitates to put Cassie over his knee when she strays too far from his view of ladylike behavior, few people other than close old friends know this side of Cassie exists.
Cassie and Tom show that love and passion are not the sole property of the young. Love and passion grows and changes with age. While aging may bring on challenges – the love and passion between these two people only grows stronger.

Cassie continues to live life to the fullest, from wheeling around in her new sports car to mastering the art of riding a motor scooter with no hands, she manages to keep Tom on his toes. The fly in the ointment is that Tom’s firm wants him back for a project and Cassie wants him all to herself.  When Tom takes the job, Cassie is left lonely and bored – never a good combination for her.
Left to her own devices Cassie makes some poor decisions, frightening Sue and causing Tom to lower the boom. Tom's new schedule for Cassie, including her getting a job, leaves her little time to get herself in trouble – yet she still manages.

Cassie’s on the move and loving life. Through paint ball game in the woods and water park adventure she’s gets to know her new neighbors as the new house is renovated.
Cassie is traveling too, from trips with just the girls, to conventions, vacations, and cruises with Tom and friends, she's always ready for the next adventure. But when Cassie begins having dizzy spells Tom thinks a slower pace is in order. Getting Cassie to slow down and take care of herself proves to be quite a challenge. A challenge Tom is more than determined to take on.

Saturday Spankings - July 19

Happy Saturday everyone, welcome to Saturday Spanking – eight sentence of fun all around. I’m especially excited today because Blushing Books just accepted the forth Cassie book. I don’t know when it will be out, but I’m doing the happy dance anyway. I’ll keep you posted.
My snippet today is from the second book, Cassie’sTale. This piece is actually written by Cassie’s friend Sue. Tom’s out of town for work and he’s worried about Cassie. He knows she doesn’t like being alone. Sue offers to check on her and flies down from DC.  Arriving at midnight she is annoyed to find that Cassie has left the door unlocked.

“Cassie, it’s Sue,” I shouted up to her, I heard nothing but the sound of a TV. I didn’t panic until I reached the top of the stairs. All the way from the hall bath to Cassie’s door was a long bloody smear on the wall. My heart thudded as I raced to her door. What I saw stopped me in my tracks.
I saw Cassie lying across the foot of the bed, and there seemed to be blood everywhere – her face, her hair, the bedding. I didn’t know if she was dead or alive. I thought... I thought... I just grabbed her, yelling, “Cassie, Cassie

I’ll tell you a little more next Saturday.

Saturday Spankings - July 12

Saturday has rolled around once again and it’s time for more snippets. I put several new books on my kindle last week and I’m looking for more. Today’s snippet is from the second Cassie book, Cassie's Tale. There is a fourth Cassie book completed now and I'm just waiting to hear.
Cassie and her best friend Sue have been getting into trouble together for decades, but during that time only Cassie had to deal with a sore bottom afterwards. However, after seriously listening to Cassie talk about the sexy side of spanking, Sue brought home a paddle – for erotic spankings only.
But after the girls leave in the middle of the night with our their phones or leaving a note… You can imagine Tom’s reaction. But the next day Sue is acting differently and Cassie’s sharp eye notices. There are a few extra sentences, but some are really short.

I kept staring until Sue finally looked away and as I continued to stare, she rubbed her butt without thinking about it and I knew.
“He spanked your butt! I can’t believe it, admit it, he wore you out last night.” I loved it. I laughed out loud at her discomfort, both mental and physical.
We were about half way down the hall, and Sue grabbed me and hauled me the rest of the way. “Shut up!” she hissed at me, “He did not. He was just playing. Oh hell, this is all Tom’s fault. Steve never acts this way unless he has been talking to Tom.” Sue was angry, but I couldn’t stop laughing.
Sue turned and stalked away from me. She whirled around at the end of the hall and flipped me the bird. It had turned into a wonderful day and I couldn’t remember news that had made me any happier.

Enter Nick Fox, a no-nonsense coach, willing to use unconventional methods to bring her in line. Traumatized by her last coach and still recovering from self-destructive habits, Claire finds it hard to trust Nick’s authority about what she can and can’t handle on the trails. Still, her attraction for him deepens, even when she discovers he believes in good old-fashioned spanking as a method of correction.
As Nick spends more time with Claire, she enchants him with her drive and deep commitment to help her fellow runners. But when she gets into an argument with a teammate, he realizes he only has one option—to give the talented woman he cares about the first spanking of her life, a spanking that is not going to be fun for either of them.
Claire and Nick grow closer and she comes to crave Nick’s dominance and direction. Discovering the emotional healing and strength to succeed during training, she moves past her shyness and self-doubt to step into a leading role with the young women on the team. But when team politics, jealousy and misunderstandings create drama, will she revert back to her old pattern of running away? Or can she learn to trust in love and race toward her goals with an open heart?

Saturday Spankings - July 5

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July, whether you were celebrating Independence Day or it was just a good Friday. I’m glad to be back home from our vacation and I’m looking forward to filling up my kindle again after I get to read all your snippets today.
My snippet is from the second Cassie book, Cassie’s Tale, Tom and Cassie have been invited to a party being held by the company that is trying to woo Tom back to work. Cassie hates the idea of Tom working again and adamantly refuses to go. Cassie thinks Tom is playing dirty as he insists she accompany him.

Tom’s look was one of amused exasperation and I was pretty sure I knew what was coming. Tom stalked toward me saying, “I think it’s time for a little talk.”
Talk my foot.
Reaching me, Tom wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead, then he kissed my eye and slowly worked his way down my neck. “You are going,” he told me in a sexy whisper. “You’re going because I want to show everyone that if I do take this job, I have a powerful reason for coming home each day. I want to show them that my wife is beautiful, and sexy, and satisfied, and that I plan on keeping her that way whether I work or not.” Taking a pause to kiss me on the lips, he continued, “You’re going because I love you and I want you there with me.”
I told you he plays dirty.
