Allison West - The Lords of Discipline

The Lords of Discipline
by Allison West
Publisher: Blushing Books

I'm so happy to have Allison West here again with The Lords of Discipline, another great book.

From a line of felons...Violet Kingsley’s parents, convicted of conspiring against the crown, were sent to the penal colony, leaving Violet with her abusive uncle. Escaping his home was easy, living on the streets was a matter of survival. At nineteen she wants nothing more than to see her parents again. With no other way to discover their whereabouts, she forces her way inside a restaurant and breaks into the kitchen, delivering herself one last hot meal before she too is sent to the penal colony, in hopes of finding them again.
Officer James Foster patrols the streets of London and is called into a different district to cover a shift. Catching Violet red-handed with stolen soup right out of the ladle, he has no choice but to arrest her, except his heart won’t let him send this poor woman to the magistrate for further proceedings. He’s seen her before, bought her a meal two years ago, and feels nothing but guilt for her still living the same life she had back then. He should have done more for her.
Knowing what will become of Violet as a convict on a ship set out for the penal colony, she would be one of only a few women against hundreds of men who wanted to take her virtue. Violet would not survive the transport, let alone the life of a convict in New South Wales.
Needing a caretaker for his fourteen-month old daughter, James offers her a chance to pay off her debt, with the same sentence term, seven years. Will she behave as a lady should, or find his expectations and her new life to be too difficult?
DISCLAIMER: This book contains the elements of domestic discipline and power exchange. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase this book.

Excerpt:

“Stop!” the officer shouted at her. His icy blue eyes locked onto hers.
Violet dropped the ladle, the soup splashing about the pot. She swallowed the last bite of her bread, her eyes wide, surprised to recognize the officer standing in front of her. “James?” Was she wrong in remembering him? Perhaps he had a brother or there was a likeness between them. It had been years and Violet had spent less than an hour with him.
He sighed heavily, shaking his head, looking quite displeased. “I am going to have to arrest you, Violet.”
For the first time, she felt conflicted regarding the entire ordeal. For weeks, she had been talking herself up, deciding this was the only way to see her parents again. Not that she even knew with absolute certainty where they were in New South Wales. It was quite a long shot, leaving London and hoping to stumble upon her parents. Laying eyes on James, it made her question all of it. Had she made a mistake?

Saturday Spanking - Watch that temper

I’m happy to be back for another Saturday Spanking. I’m also happy to announce the second Cal and Jenny book, Becoming Family will be out in May. More about that to come. Today I’m getting my eight sentences from Cal’sLaw.
Jenny’s spanking for passing out in the frat house and missing an exam is a serious one, and Cal begins with a warm up. I think you’ll be able to see that this lifestyle is very new to Jenny.

“Yes, you should have stayed in,” Cal said calmly as he paused in the warm-up and began to rubbing. Jenny relaxed in his lap knowing there was more to come. He rubbed a moment longer as he allowed her to catch her breath. Then he stood her up and said “Go get the paddle.”
“Why the hell didn’t you get it if you wanted to use it so damn much?” Jenny snapped at him.
She was back over his knee in a flash. He spanked hard as he suggested, “You might want to watch that temper in the middle of a spanking.” Setting her back on her feet he said, “I’m not going to repeat myself.”

Blurb:

Jenny is the typical rich-kid, sorority girl. Getting good grades isn’t high on her priority list. In fact, that sits well below getting into the secret faction of her sorority. To do that she must pull off a daring bit of mischief.
Cal Bennett is the town sheriff. He’s a relatively young, no-nonsense, kind of guy – with a good heart. He is the moral center of this small town in North Carolina. But when his and Jenny’s paths cross unexpectedly, things get complicated and he questions his morals and his heart.
His plan to save Jenny from herself by enforcing strict discipline seems like a sound one.  To both of them. At first. He enacts a touch of martial law and Jenny agrees to learn more than English Lit. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry are but a few of her new subjects. Along with time-management, telling the truth and doing homework. Breaking any one in this new set of rules will result in a sound spanking. It all sounds simple enough when she signs on the dotted line of the contract between her and her sheriff.
But, life is messy and she is faced with one tough decision after another. She’s a college student! Shouldn’t life be easier than this? Less complicated? But she is pulled in two directions: her moral, upstanding sheriff leads her down one path, and a cute frat boy leads her down another. In one direction lies maturity, and a future. In the other, the simplicity of being a rich kid in college where Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. Now she must choose: Will she continue to let her parents pay for it all, or will she learn to pay the price for her own actions?

Kryssie Fortune - Marriage, Mobsters and the Marine

Marriage, Mobsters, and the Marine
Abigail and Jared marry for mutual convenience, each unaware of the other’s BDSM lifestyle.
Can love blossom despite extortion threats, kidnapping, and attempted murder?

I'm happy to have Kryssie Fortune visiting here today. This book looks very interesting and it's on my TBR list now.

Blurb

Abigail Montgomery, a small town schoolteacher with zero self-confidence, dreams of the Dickensian Christmas her family never enjoyed. Each month she attends a masked BDSM club, but her next visit will be her last. If she doesn’t marry within the next year, her brother won’t inherit Montgomery Hall. Desperate, she advertises for a husband.

Jared Armstrong, a former Marine sharpshooter and occasional Dom needs to $125,000 to get his family out of a hole. His solution—to marry Abigail Montgomery for her money. His only regret is his wife won’t accept his spanking lifestyle.

Gradually, Abigail comes to dream of making their marriage real, but she promised Jared a divorce two years after their wedding. Can they share some Christmas magic as their relationship faces extortion threats, a kidnapping, and an attempted murder? Or will Jared break her heart when he walks away?

He held her a moment longer than necessary, then dropped a gentle kiss on her forehead. When he released her, she perched on the edge of the bed. The way she stared at him reminded him of a startled fawn about to run. Stepping back, he closed the door and checked it had locked behind him. “First, we’ll address your disobedience and how you put yourself in danger. After I’ve spanked some sense into you, we’ll talk about what happened.”
He hadn’t meant to unleash his dominant side on his unsuspecting wife, but if those creeps in the car park had gotten another shot off, she might have bled out on the bedroom floor. He refused to think about his Abigail wounded and bleeding because those idiots had come after him. Leaning against the door, he folded his arms across his chest. “Take off your robe.”
Abigail’s gaze darted about the room. “You’re going to spank me? When I tried to help you?”
He pictured her bare assed and laid over his knee. “Hell yeah. You put yourself in danger. I’d never have forgiven myself if those bastards had put a bullet in you. Why are you still wearing your robe?”
He knew this pushed her boundaries, but he needed to make her understand how much he needed her to stay safe. Okay, he suspected no one had spanked her even when she’d been a child, so he’d go easy on her virgin ass. Afterward, he’d screw her, if she still wanted him. “Normally I’d blister your bare butt with a paddle or spank it until you couldn’t sit for a week. For the first time, I’ll limit your punishment to five bare-bottom slaps.”

Author bio
Kryssie’s a girl who loves to shopping, history, and writing. Back in 2001 disaster struck and her heart valve collapse. Even her heart specialist told her to make her will. Prognosis shocking. Outcome amazing. Ever since Kryssie’s been chasing her dreams. She’s visited the ancient Greek sites she read about as child, taken a trip to Pompeii, and visited the Orkney Islands.
Her biggest challenge was writing the book she always swore she’d get around to one day. It took a while, and being dyslexic, she lacked the confidence to self-publish. Fortunately, Loose id accepted her first book, To Wed a Werewolf, and she’s been writing ever since.
