Saturday Spankings - Cassie just can't fake it

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I'm beginning with snippets from Cassie's Ordeal, book 7 in the Cassie's Space series today. With Cassie and Tom you see a real married couple, very much in love. And although Tom's the boss, it's not a Dom/Sub relationship at all, as you can see.

Cassie and Sue are simply heading out on a simple shopping trip, but Cassie thinks Tom is interfering.

Tom and I talked about it the night before and all was well, but the next morning he had to stick his nose into our business. I was still in bed when Tom leaned down to kiss me good-by. I think I made some sweet loving sound while not really wakening until he said, “Honey, Steve’s driving us in today. I don’t want you going on the highway in the Toy, take the big car.”

I was awake in an instant and completely annoyed, but I didn’t let on to either. I simply murmured again, which could have meant anything or nothing.

“Cassie, did you hear me?” Tom was asking. I mumbled something unintelligible once again and gave a faint nod, which could have been just adjusting my head on the pillow.

The next moment faking sleep was no longer possible and Tom whipped back the covers and popped my bottom so hard I nearly come up swinging. “What was that for?” I demanded.

“Are you awake and do I have your attention?” Tom asked sweetly.

“I heard you,” I snapped. “You told me you were interfering with my day by telling me I have to drive that horrible old tank instead of my beautiful, sleek, safe, toy!”

“And you,” Tom told me, grinning, “were planning on ignoring what I said and telling me later that you were asleep and don’t remember me saying a thing about it. Girl, don’t you think I can tell by now when you’re faking sleep?”

Tom looked so pleased with himself. I couldn’t help but laugh. He can annoy me in more ways than I can count, but I love that man. Twisting around to look at my rear I scolded, “I think you left a hand print.”

“How ‘bout I promise to kiss it and make it all better when I get home this evening?”

“Well maybe,” I told him with a grin. “But while I’m shopping today, I’m looking for a husband that’s not so darn bossy. If I don’t find just want I’m looking for, I’ll give you one more chance.”

Blurb:

Cassie loves her life on the river with Tom and her friends. She feels Tom has her wrapped in a safe and protected cocoon of love.  But her world is jarred when the phone calls begin. Cassie hesitates to tell Tom about them knowing he’ll over react and she will be the one under ‘house arrest’. But when the calls go from annoying to frightening she has no choice. Tom brings in the police to find out who is behind the harassment and makes plans to keep Cassie safe, but he’s too late – Cassie is gone without a trace.

The police begin an all-out search, but there are few clues to go on. Will life on the river ever be the same again?

Excerpt

Swiping the card through the lock, she opened the door when the light turned green. As promised, her luggage had been placed just inside the room. She stepped around the two suitcases, and tossed her shoulder bag and key card on the desk. A page of Wi-Fi instructions rested next to the flat screen TV. Good. I won't be cut off from the real world.

She glanced down at her cellphone. If I check my messages there will only be a coupla dozen from mom asking for updates. Who needs that? She tossed the cell onto the table. She was on vacation – sort of.

Turning around, she continued her exploration. The living room area had a couch with four emerald green throw pillows, two comfortable looking chairs and large seascape hung on the wall, above the couch. A spectacular bouquet sat on the coffee table. Red pulled the little card out of its holder - Compliments of The Emerald Forest.

To the right, were a closet and the bathroom. Walking into the bedroom area, Red jumped on the king-sized bed and sighed. A huge bed. Now if I could get Hot and Sexy in here. Or maybe Mr. I'm-So-Lost. I think I could use a little ship board action and release some pent-up frustration.

Glancing at her watch, she saw she didn't have a lot of time to spare before she was to meet Chopper for lunch. She walked back to the living room to get her luggage, but the view from the balcony stopped her. Sliding the glass door open, she stepped outside. The warm gulf air brushed across her face. We left port? How can a ship this big move and I not notice?

Captivated by the view, Red watched the waves ripple past and the occasional seagull soar overhead. She inhaled the warm air and let the sun shine on her face. A knock at the door brought her out of her reverie. She crossed the room and opened it.

“Hello. Did you forget about lunch?” Chopper asked.

Red glanced at her watch. “Oh, good heavens. I was standing on the balcony. I guess I lost track of the time. Come in. Have a seat. Give me a minute to change.”

Chopper whistled as he entered. “Look at this place. This is great. I've got a closet with a bed in it. You've got a palace. And your own balcony.” He pointed at the glass doors. “May I?”

“Go ahead. I'll only be a second.” Red grabbed the suitcases and hurried to the bedroom. Rifling through the clothes, she found a tank top and a pair of shorts that didn't look too much like she'd packed for the cruise in under fifteen minutes. As she changed, she caught her reflection in the mirror. Gawd, I look like a ghost. I really need a tan. She slipped on a pair of black flip-flops.

When she stepped into the living room, Chopper pointed at the bouquet. “Nice flowers. Boyfriend?”

Red shook her head. “No. They're compliments of the cruise line.” She picked up her purse and key card. “Let's go, I'm starved.”

Inside the elevator, Chopper said, “I have a confession to make.”

“We've known each other for like five minutes, what do you have to confess?”

“I don't exactly know where the restaurant is. We might just end up in the engine room.”

She put her hands on her hips. “Oh, so you're just using me as a tour guide?”

“Yes, but I'll pay for lunch.”

“The food's free.”

He chucked her under the chin. “I can afford free.”

Red laughed. As the elevator doors opened, she led the way to the small restaurant.

They ordered cheeseburgers, fries and beer, then requested their meal be served on deck. Chopper spotted two unoccupied lounge chairs on the starboard side of the ship, partially in the shade with a view of the ocean, if a person hunched down and looked under the lifeboat.

Tilting his head toward the boats, he said, “I'm glad we found those. I'll be able to find them when the lifeboat drill happens. It's important you know.” His face looked serious.

Red tilted her head. “Why?”

“I saw Titanic. Six times.”

She snickered. “No icebergs in the Caribbean. I think you can relax.”

He pointed at her. “Bermuda Triangle.”

Saturday Spankings - The cost of Jealousy

Welcome back to Saturday Spankings! This is my last snippet from Cassie’s Influence, the sixth in the Cassie’s Space series. Last week’s snippet showed how outraged Cassie was when a women from the gym came on strong for Tom.

Tom had given Cassie strict instruction not to contact her in anyway, but Cassie had ignored him and received a serious spanking for it. As Tom said when he’d read the text, “I was trying to keep you away from such mess, that's why I wanted you to stay away from her.”

This is part of the discussion that followed.

You're my husband. Doesn't that give me the right to be upset with her? Don't I have a right to fight to keep what's mine? What if some man was all over me like that? Wouldn't you be angry?"

"Yes, girl, I would be angry if that happened and I would take care of it, just as I would have taken care of this situation. It's my place to handle things that upset you. But your behavior has been totally out of proportion."

"Out of proportion? Don't you think it’s normal for a wife to be angry with a woman trying to steal her husband?"

"Cassie, listen to yourself." Tom sighed. Then he asked me, "What if it was our house she wanted? What if she said the house was beautiful, wonderful, and perfect for her and she was going to have it for her own? Suppose she offered us twice what it's worth. Would you be mad? Would you want to beat her up? Or would you just laugh because we both know we would never sell our home regardless of how much she was offering?"

"But she wanted you," I said in a quiet voice.

"And don't you realize that's more ridiculous than if she wanted the house? Cassie, I know some people find jealously flattering. I don't. I find it extremely insulting. That you would think so little of my love and faithfulness to you, hurts me. That you would give a second thought to that woman, hurts me."

"Tom, I never thought for one minute that you’d be unfaithful! You know that," I insisted, totally shocked he would even think such a thing.

"I would assume that's true. But tell me then, why did her adolescent behavior provoke such emotions from you?"

"Honey, it was because … well, she made me mad and …" I couldn't explain it to him. I didn't think telling him, ‘She just pissed me off’, would be something he would understand. Sue would have, but he really wouldn't.

 Blurb:

Intentionally or not, Cassie’s influence spreads. Sue’s marriage has improved through Cassie’s influence. However, when Sue’s marriage unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse, Sue pushes for the solution she feels will work, a solution that could put Cassie on a collision course with the ivory brush.

Every adventure, old or new, captures Allie's attention, which increases her desire to be more like her mentor. But for better or worse, Ryan is just as determined to be like Tom.

A Dom is for Life … not just for Christmas.

It’s been over three years since her bitter break up with her husband, and Libby Novak is over him. Definitely. All she needs to do is sign the final papers and their divorce will be final, the whole sorry chapter finished with.

So, why doesn’t she?

A slip up in a shopping centre places her on the wrong side of the law, and Libby is horrified when the head of security turns out to be her soon-to-be ex-husband, Josh. She manages to convince him of her innocence though, and he’s prepared to let her go.

So why doesn’t she just head for the exit? Why, instead, does she beg him to spank her, like he used to do, when they were together, and he was her Dom as well as her husband?

Josh was always a stern Master, and he has a score to settle with the wife and submissive who betrayed him. Will one spanking be enough?

As the heat of their marriage sizzles again, who will get burned this time?

Warning: This book contains sexually explicit content which is only suitable for mature readers.

The first two chapters of this book were originally published as a short story, In The Eyes of the Law in the Totally Bound Over The Knee anthology, In this edition, the book has been substantially expanded to a full-length novel, re-edited and with new cover art and title

Excerpt

“Lift your skirt, Libby. Above your waist. Then put your hands and feet on the floor. I want your bottom lifted up, ready for me.”

I reach for the hem of my loose-fitting skirt and raise it, gathering much of the fabric in front of me. The waft of cool air on my naked buttocks sends my pussy into yet another frenzy of clenching.

Despite my enthusiastic anticipation, I still flinch when Josh lays his palm across my right cheek, massaging the sensitive skin in large circles. He repeats the action on the other side.

Memories rush back. Warm, sensuous memories as I recall his unhurried preparations, his insistence that I be thoroughly readied, especially for an intense scene. I wriggle against his thigh, loving the solicitous attention. No one ever made me feel as vulnerable, or as safe as Josh.

“I guess you’re liking this, Libby.”

“Mmm, yes, Sir. I am.”

“And this?” He drops the first few light, teasing slaps onto my upturned bottom.

“Yes, Sir, that, too.” I writhe on his lap, turning my bottom to try to catch maximum impact with each stroke.

“Libby, you know better than that. Keep still.” He ceases the delightful slapping, waiting until I resume my original position.

“I’m sorry, Sir. I just…”

“Hush. It’s okay. Do you still use the same safe word?”

“Yes, Sir. Murgatroyd. But I won’t be needing it.” My mother’s maiden name hasn’t been pressed into service for a while now. During my ill-fated scenes with other partners during our separation, I’ve stuck to the more traditional traffic-lights system.

“Probably not, but just checking. Apart from the last couple of times that you just told me about, how long is it since you were last spanked? Really spanked, I mean, into sub-space?”

“Not since you and I… Oh!” I let out a sharp cry when he ramps up the intensity.

“Okay, and has it been just spanking or have you tried anything else?”

“If you mean have I fucked anyone else, the answer is no. I’m not— I mean, I like kink, but…”

“Okay, I get that, too. I was thinking about any other types of play. You liked to be tied up, I recall.”

“N-no. Nothing else, Sir.”

“I see. This still all right?”

He’s dropping quite hard slaps on my bottom now, raining them all over the tender flesh. I’m managing not to clench because I know that just increases the pain, but it isn’t easy.

“Yes, Sir. It’s fine. Thank you.”

“I missed you, Libby.” He delivers this line without breaking his rhythm.

“I-I missed it, too.”

“It? I said I missed you, girl. Not this. Well, not only this.”

“I’m sorry.”

“You should be. You should never have left me.”

“I had to. You knew why I had to.”

“I know what you told me, but you were wrong. You were impatient. You should have given me more time.” The pressure of the slaps has risen again, the spanking is really hurting now, and it’s linked to this conversation somehow. He isn’t striking me in anger. He never did and never would. But there is a connection.

I feel compelled to at least attempt an explanation, though my wits are scrambling fast, and I’m not sure how coherent it will be.

“I couldn’t stand it. I begged you to leave the army, but you refused. In the end, I had no choice.”

“I would have put you first. You knew that. I always did.”

“I didn’t know. How could I? Oh, oh, Sir…”

The spanking pauses for a few moments. Josh leans down to pick up his belt from the floor beside him. I suck in a breath and hold it.

“I always did,” he repeats. “I asked you to wait. You should have trusted me.”

“I… Aagh!” There’s a whoosh as the belt slices through the air, then a loud crack when it lands across my bottom, wrapping itself around both buttocks. “Oh God, oh Jesus that hurts.”

Josh ignores my comment and my scream, readying himself to swing the belt again. Another rush of air, louder this time, and the belt again connects with my searing flesh.

“Oh, oh. Christ.” I screw up my eyes. Tears are already prickling behind my eyelids. Surely I used to be much more resilient than this. I’ve become soft, out of practice.

“Why couldn’t you trust me, Libby? Did I ever let you down?”

The belt lands again, leaving a third river of agony across my bottom. My arse is scorching, yet still I lift it to him, offer myself up for more punishment. I know—I’m sure we both know—this isn’t about a bottle of perfume, nor is it about a lapse of memory, a moment of carelessness. This is about trust, broken promises, disappointment, and long-suppressed anger.
