Saturday Spankings - September 27

I’m tucked away in a beautiful little place in the mountains this weekend – I’m all alone and no one will care if I stay up until two or three writing, so I plan to do just that! I'm glad you've come by for Saturday Spankings. I’m not positive I’ll have internet, we’ll see. If not I’ll try to get around to everyone by Sunday.
If you would like to get the rest of the story of last week’s snippet it will be over at Aimless Ramblings Monday. Leigh Smith is hosting me there and I have a portion of her book, Destiny takes a Hand on Fantasy Friday this week. Pop over some time.
In today’s snippet from Cassie’s River Living, Tom has been working more and more. One evening he has his secretary call to let Cassie know a videoconference will keep him at work until after nine. Cassie is more than hot under the collar. Although Tom has strictly forbidden her from taking the boat out alone, Cassie decided a quick boat ride up river to see the storm brewing is exactly what she’s in the mood for, and if Tom won’t be home until after nine she won’t have to worry about getting caught. After enjoying her ride, Cassie stops to top off the tanks…

As I pulled into the station, Ned came from the store. “Miss Cassie, what on earth are you doing out in this mess. It ain’t safe.”
“Oh Ned,” I gushed. “It’s beautiful out there!”
“Ma’am you gotta get home, there’s a bad storm comin’. Let me fill it up for you and get you outta here. Your folks is worried ‘bout you.”
What?
“What do you mean my folks are worried about me?” I asked, grabbing his arm.
“Well ma’am your husband done called twice and so’s that Ryan boy. They’s looking all over for you.”
 Good Lord!

I hope you'll try all the Cassie books

Saturday Spankings - September 20

I’m happy to be back at Saturday Spanking I hope to get around to everyone’s snippets today, I’m ready to load my Kindle. My snippet is from the newest Cassie book, Cassie’s River Living.

Cassie was simply enjoying a relaxing afternoon with Sue, sipping wine and watching the river. Truly getting into trouble was the last thing on her mind, but when she hears her oldest cat stuck in a tree Cassie worries about how long she may have been stuck there. With Sue’s help Cassie rescues the cat, but after the ladder falls bending parts of it, it’s suddenly Cassie that’s stuck up a tree. With Tom gone for the afternoon, it’s Ryan the ladies call for help. However when he sees the unstable ladder he pulls out his phone and calls the rescue squad, infuriating Cassie –

“Why did you do that?” I flared.

“I could ask you the same thing,” he shot back. I told you he was getting more like Tom every day.

Ryan did ask them to come without lights and sirens, and they complied, but in a small town everyone and their brother seem to follow a fire truck, even a small one.

Can you imagine how foolish I felt sitting in a tree with the whole neighborhood staring up at me laughing?

But of course, with my luck holding true to form, it was only moments later that someone joined the crowd who was not at all amused by my predicament. From my perch I could see Tom pull in and my heart sank. I had the distinct feeling that sitting on that small hard branch was the most comfortable my rear was likely to be for a while.

I hope you'll try all the Cassie books

From my husband...

I thought I'd show off what my husband made for me the other day. He's very creative and I just love this.

I hope you think of reading the Cassie books. This is the order, but if you don't have time for all four right now you can jump in anywhere. They can each stand alone.

My son and his husband are home this weekend and I knew I wouldn't have time to get around to all the great Saturday Spanking snippets today. I hope to be back next week.

Saturday Spanking - September, 6

It’s Saturday again and we’re all back with our eight sentences to try to draw everyone to try our latest work. It’s also the day I start seeing my bank account dwindle as my TBR list grows.

It’s been a wonderful week for me with Cassie’s River Living coming out. Meredith O'Reilly  has invited me to her place tomorrow and I’m going to be over at Patty Devlin on Monday so the excitement for me keeps coming!

This snippet continues the morning after my snippet fromlast week.  Snapping at Tom when he was already so stressed, Cassie received a sound spanking the night before, but Tom doesn’t go easy on her that morning as he addressed her trespassing and being separated from her phone. Receiving her second spanking in less than eight hours Cassie is not a happy camper.

“Tom! Stop, stop! I’m sorry, please stop,” I was begging.
He paused. “Cassie, you know how I feel about you putting yourself in danger and not having your phone.”
“Yes, yes, I know. Let me up.”
“Be still,” Tom said, beginning to rub. “I’m not quite through.”
My head snapped up to look at the dresser – the darn brush wasn’t there which only meant one thing. When had he picked up the horrible thing?
“Tom no, don’t…”
“Do you know the worst thing you did yesterday?”
Good Lord. I didn’t know and I didn’t want to know either.

I hope you'll give Cassie's River Living a try. All the Cassie books
