It feels good
to be back here at Saturday Spankings, even if I’ll be late reading everyone
today – off to start Christmas shopping this morning. I’m starting today where
I left off last time from Cassie’s Ordeal. Cassie rode her bike without the
helmet that Tom had insisted she wear. After she takes a slight tumble Tom
takes her off for a ‘talk.’ Unfortunately, Cassie isn’t in the mood and instead
of going along she snaps at Tom in anger. She’s made Tom mad and he need a walk
to calm down.
I just did not want a spanking, and I wasn’t going to go
along. I was digging myself a hole as hard as I could, and I was planning to
dig deeper. But then Tom did something I wasn’t expecting. He was getting up to
leave, he was quite upset with me, but even with all that going on he reached
down and put his hand on my face, cupping my chin and rubbed his thumb along my
cheek.
It’s just one of his little gestures of affection, so natural to him that he did it even though he was angry with me. Then he quickly left the room. All my anger must have snuck out the door with him. With that one small touch, he had brought me back.

Blurb for Cassie’s Ordeal - book 7
Cassie loves her life on the river with Tom and her friends. She feels Tom has her wrapped in a safe and protected cocoon of love. But her world is jarred when the phone calls begin. Cassie hesitates to tell Tom about them knowing he’ll over react and she will be the one under ‘house arrest’. But when the calls go from annoying to frightening she has no choice. Tom brings in the police to find out who is behind the harassment and make plans to keep Cassie safe, but he’s too late – Cassie is gone without a trace.
The police began an all out search, but there are few clues to go on. Will life on the river ever be the same again?
