Saturday Spanking - Who's fault was it?

It’s Saturday again and I’m glad to have you back for your Saturday Spankings. It seems summer is galloping away from us, but there is still plenty of summer reading to be enjoyed. Today’s snippet if from the second Cassie book, Cassie’s Tale. It takes up not long after last week’s snippet.

Tom’s out of town and he’s worried about Cassie, who has seemed down lately. Sue flies in to find Cassie nearly unconscious and with a badly cut hand. She manages to keep Cassie awake until her doctor arrives and she stays with Cassie until Tom makes it home. Sue and Cassie always try to cover for one another, but this was too much for Sue.

I was asleep when Tom got home later that evening, but I’d been up and down several times. Sue could have cleaned up the darn bedroom for me, but no she took Tom right up to see it blood and all. When he came down the stairs his pale face made it seem as if he’d been the one bleeding.
Tom and Sue talked for a long time before Sue came in to tell me goodbye. “I had to tell him everything,” she told me while giving me a fierce hug. “You scared the crap outta me. You got to get it together, Cassie.”
“It’s not my fault, I didn’t really do anything wrong, you know.”
Sue stepped back and stared, finally she started cackling like an old hen. “Tom,” she called to him in the kitchen. “She just told me it wasn’t her fault and that she didn’t do anything wrong – by golly, I think she’s back.”

Cassie continues to live life to the fullest, from wheeling around in her new sports car to mastering the art of riding a motor scooter with no hands, she manages to keep Tom on his toes. The fly in the ointment is that Tom’s firm wants him back for a project and Cassie wants him all to herself.  When Tom takes the job, Cassie is left lonely and bored – never a good combination for her.

Left to her own devices Cassie makes some poor decisions, frightening Sue and causing Tom to lower the boom. Tom's new schedule for Cassie, including her getting a job, leaves her little time to get herself in trouble – yet she still manages.

  1. Ooh, I don't think Sue is helping Cassie's plight. I suspect once her hand heals another part of her anatomy is going to suffer lol.

    1. Cassie scared Sue really badly. Cassie going to suffer even more than a quick spanking.

    1. Sue really wasn't pleased, just worried to death. Tom will take care of the rest.

  4. I'd forgotten how she cut her hand, so I had to go back and read last week's snippet. True it was an accident, but mixing wine and pills is never a good thing, and that's what will get her into trouble.

    1. Cassie really thought everything was just an accident, Tom saw it differently.

  5. I don't think Tom agrees that she didn't do anything wrong. I see a blistered butt looming on the horizon.

    1. It does seem that way. But she'd tell you she always tries to stay out of trouble.
