For the Curious - Answers from Cassie

I think Cassie is answering two very different and interesting questions today. And should anyone think of any more for any of my characters in the Cassie series or the Cal and Jenny series, please leave them in the comments or email me at pk.corey@yahoo.com

Questions for Cassie:

I think I already know that you would love a grandchild someday. Tell us how you picture spending time with him or her.

Goodness, you can’t imagine what all I want to do with my grandchildren. First off I want a house full! Though, I suppose
Allie and Ryan will have some say over that. I want to teach them the river, swimming, boating, fishing – but I’m not the best fisherman. I want to read to them, tell them stories. I want to travel with them and show them the world. But I guess what I think of the most when I picture these little souls to be, is listening to them. Hearing what excites them, following their lead in conversations, being there for them. I want to kiss boo-boo’s. I want to hold them when they are scared or lonely or worried. I want them to run to me in delight when they see me, just as I’ll be running to them.

I don’t pester the children, though I don’t know what they’re waiting on. Grandpa Tom and I aren’t getting any younger!

Have you ever asked for a spanking?

I often tease, brat or nudge Tom into spanking me for the joy of it. But I suppose you’re asking about the real thing – not just fun and games. I have, but in all our time together you can probably count the number of times I’ve asked on one hand. I don’t do guilt, whenever possible I simply refuse it. But when guilt crashes over me and I can’t escape, it can nearly destroy me. Often the only thing that will relieve the feeling and allow me to release the guilt is a serious spanking. So as difficult as it is for me, I have asked.

  1. I absolutely love the answer to the first question. Tom and Cassie would be wonderful grandparents :)

Guilt is an awful burden to carry, but asking for a spanking is definitely not easy. Good on Cassie!
