Saturday Spankings - Starting again

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I’m glad to be back this Saturday. My next On the River book with Cassie and the gang will be out mid-March. Until then I hope you’re enjoying these snippets from my contribution to the Corbin’s Bend series, Returning to Us.

Susan and Hal are settled in Corbin’s Bend, and after talking with his mentor Hal is ready to get started.

Susan took a deep breath and said, “I’m ready to try honey, but I’m still worried. It’s been a long, long time since I was spanked. Sometimes it was tough back when I was used to it. I’m feeling a little uneasy, maybe a little scared. But I do trust you.”

“Thanks Sweetheart. That’s all I need – your trust. And I do know that it’s been a while. But I’ll get you whipped back into shape real quick.” Hal grinned at Susan who smiled back at him.

“Yeah. That’s what I’m scared of,” she told him, laughing and giving a small eye-roll.

“I want to get started right away. I have a few errands to run. While I’m gone, I want you to get fresh sheets on the bed in the guest room, unpack those last two boxes of books so we can walk through the living room and put in a load of laundry. I’ll be back in about ninety minutes.”

“Yes sir,” Susan answered. For the moment, the scary feeling was gone, replaced by excitement. She tried to remember the last time Hal had ‘told’ her to do anything. I can’t believe I’m looking forward to doing as I’m told, she mused to herself.

She hurried through unpacking the books and making the shelves look neat. Next, she gathered a load of laundry. Passing the computer, she thought of Deb. Deb was an old friend who knew that she and Hal had once had a DD relationship. She was intrigued by their move to Corbin’s Bend and Susan had promised to keep her updated. She couldn’t wait to tell her that Hal was actually stepping up. An email would only take a minute. But as it happened, Deb was online and messaged, “Tell me more!” It seemed they had chatted for only a few minutes when Susan heard Hal entering the house.

“Shit!” was Susan’s only thought as she hurried to close the computer and grab the laundry basket. But it was too late. Hal saw her toss the computer as he came in.

“What did I tell you to do? Gossip on the computer?” He stared at the laundry basket sitting on the floor. He looked at the shelves and then stuck his head in the guest room. The bare mattress told him all he needed to know. Hal came back into the living room and said, “Almost looks like you didn’t believe what I said. Follow me”

“Hal, wait. I was just planning to be on for a minute. Really…” Her voice trailed off. She slowly followed Hal into the kitchen. He pulled a heavy wooden spoon from the crock on the counter. Susan had a flash memory of how much that spoon stung.

Hal took her arm, leading her over to the laundry basket. “I think you got on the computer just to see if I was serious. You’re about to find out I am. Bend over and put your hands on the basket.” Susan wouldn’t allow herself to wonder if he was right. Bending over, she felt her jeans tighten over her ass.

The first strike of the spoon confirmed Susan’s memory of the horrible thing. The burning sting was concentrated in one painful spot. Hal danced the spoon all along her sit spot until Susan was pleading, “Please, Hal, stop - it burns!”

Hal paused. “Burn is right. Your rear is going to burn. Now get the laundry started.” Susan snatched up the basket and Hal followed her to the laundry room. “You can put those jeans and panties you’re wearing, in too. You won’t need them anymore today.”

After thirty-five years, Susan thought her marriage was over the morning after their last child's wedding. Hal, her husband, said he needed to talk about something important. She knew it couldn’t be good. They rarely even spoke anymore.

In the beginning they’d been so close, so passionate. Practicing domestic discipline had been a wonderful part of their lives - sometimes. But over the years it had all drifted away, even when Susan asked for what she needed. He would occasionally give her a mild, sexy spanking, but the real discipline she craved was a thing of the past.

Now, Hal suddenly wanted to talk about moving to Colorado to live in Corbin's Bend, a community where spanking was not only accepted, but encouraged. Could this bring back the closeness and passion they’d once had? Could Susan trust that this time Hal would truly step up?

  1. Oh goodness, they are definitely off to a start. Love the description of the mix of fear and excitement in Susan given the length of time since she has been spanked.

    1. It's a feeling I've experienced once or twice.

  2. I feel for Susan. I know how it feels to think something will only take a few minutes to have it suck up all your free time. Though Hal was right to take action. However, a wooden spoon might have been a little too harsh for their start. If I were Susan, I'd probably rethink my consent. Wonderful snippet, PK.
