Saturday Spanking - It's time

We’ve come to another Saturday – the Saturday of a lovely long weekend, what could be better?  Well… we could have some great snippets to read here at the Saturday Spanking blog hop. Today’s snippet is from the newest Cassie book, Cassie’s Ordeal.
Cassie had spent more than a month dealing with some medical restrictions, but evidently a month is as long as Cassie can stand behaving herself.  Although her doctor lifted some of the restrictions, Tom hasn’t. Her temper finally flares and Tom decided to step in with his usual solution. He’s not really upset with Cassie, but he knows it’s time.

Leaving me standing by the bed he went over to the dresser opened it and removed the heavy wooden ruler he keeps there and tossed it onto the bed. I knew how much that thing hurt, yet I was still aroused by his whole attitude. But when he picked up the ivory brush I had to protest.
“Now wait, Tom, I haven't done anything really wrong - you put that thing back. And... and you remember I haven’t been spanked in over a month. You need to start back easy, not with those two things.”
“You haven’t done anything really wrong? You defy your doctor and me, and start drinking with Sue again. You bite my head off, and refuse to come in and talk to me when I asked. You cuss a blue streak and call Ryan and Sue names, and then you run off by yourself— without your phone, I might add—and you think you didn’t do anything wrong?”
“I didn’t defy Richard... just you,” I finished rather lamely as I realized how that sounded.

Blurb for Cassie’s Ordeal - book 7
Cassie loves her life on the river with Tom and her friends. She feels Tom has her wrapped in a safe and protected cocoon of love.  But her world is jarred when the phone calls begin. Cassie hesitates to tell Tom about them knowing he’ll over react and she will be the one under ‘house arrest’. But when the calls go from annoying to frightening she has no choice. Tom brings in the police to find out who is behind the harassment and make plans to keep Cassie safe, but he’s too late – Cassie is gone without a trace.

The police began an all out search, but there are few clues to go on. Will life on the river ever be the same again?

The Cassie books don’t have to be read in order, so jump in with this one. But if you like to read in order  the first four can now be found in the  Cassie Box Set. It’s a great deal.

Check out the snippets from these great writers.

  1. Oops! Open mouth, insert foot. I'm sure Tom is thinking, "What? You only disobeyed me, so that makes your infractions minor, does it?" Yup. Words spoken out of a mouth before the brain is fully engaged.

    1. I can promise you it sounded much better in her head than it did coming out of her mouth.

  5. Her last statement made me laugh ... as if it makes it all okay just defying one man and not two LOL. I'm so jealous that you have a long weekend!

    1. Always love a long weekend! I think Cassie was just looking for something in his list that she could defend - there wasn't much.

  6. Poor Cassie- those implements Tom picked. I do love the braveness of her reminding him how long since she's had a spanking.
