Saturday Spankings - Cassie's ready to grab the paddle

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I have another snippet today from Suspicions on the River. As you might have read last Saturday, Cal was not pleased that Jenny and Ryder had used a drone to spy on Pat and he let his displeasure be known. He also demanded she stay off her sprained ankle. When Cassie and Sue brought the knee crutch over to her, she told them about the evening before. Cassie wasn't too happy either.

Jenny rolled to the padded swing, but sat harder than she had intended as she took her leg from the knee crutch. “Oww… shit,” she muttered.

“What happened?” Cassie moaned. “Was Cal mad about the trip too?”

“No, it’s not that,” Jenny said as she struggled to find a comfortable position. “I did something stupid last night.” She told the ladies the whole story. She concluded with, “So I’m nearly in trouble with the police, my ass feels like it went twelve rounds with a heavyweight, we left my car in town and Cal doesn’t have time to bring it home this weekend. Ryder’s up in his room feeling miserable. Doesn’t take me long to screw up, does it?”

Jenny could tell that Cassie was angry before she spoke. “And I don’t feel one bit sorry for you!” she snapped. “I’m about ready to spank you myself. You are being ridiculous to doubt Cal. I can name you any number of things wrong with him if you have the time, but unfaithfulness is not one of them. And you know it!”

“Hmm…” Sue joined in. “I seem to remember a woman named Nancy…”

“Just hush,” Cassie demanded. “We’re talking about Jenny’s shortcomings, not mine! Jenny,” Cassie went on ignoring Sue’s smirk, “you have to get a grip. Cal’s not going to put up with this much longer.”

“I know,” Jenny told her, again shifting to find a more comfortable position. “He made that very clear. So I’m done with her. She can try all she likes. I know I’ve got Cal for keeps.”

“Maybe Cassie and I could have a come to Jesus meeting with her,” Sue suggested.

“No! Please don’t. Anything you all do or say will come right back to me getting my ass spanked again. Let’s all just forget about her.”

“Okay,” Sue agreed. “But if you change your mind…”

Suspicions on the river (a Cassie’s family story)

Book three in the On the River series

Cal and Jenny have a nearly idyllic marriage. There are rare trips across his lap for minor problems, but most of those trips are just for fun. Could that be changing? Pat, Cal’s former lover, has moved back to town and she wouldn’t mind giving it another try with Cal. She feels he can’t be serious about this little twit that he married so quickly. Pat feels that once Cal realizes she offers him a better option, he’ll choose her. But soon mysterious things begin happening to Pat. Is someone trying to run her out of town? Could that someone be Jenny?

Cassie and the whole river family try to keep Jenny occupied and out of trouble, but suspicions just go from bad to worse. Both Jenny and Pat want Cal and they’re willing to fight for him. How dirty will this fight get?

  1. Great snippet PK, u usual for Cassie to back the boys up, but she is right in this instance. Had to giggle at Sue's suggestion. I get the feeling that would definitely not be a good idea! LoL

    1. Cassie has gone through this herself but she doesn't like Jenny acting on her jealousy.

  2. A part of me understands Jenny's insecurities, though I think Cal was definitely in the right to take her in hand. The fact she's in trouble with the police, too, definitely shows she made a foolhardy mistake. Love the snippet, PK.

    1. Jenny's not used to this feeling and she doesn't know how to handle it. But I think Cal's getting through to her.
