As a child I loved my toy guns! I had toy cowboy guns, toy rifles, and toy machine guns… the more real looking the better. My dad had some of his guns from WWII in the house. I thought of them as antiques rather than firearms. As an adult I lost my interest in guns. I’ve never even shot a real one. And I don't want to get into a gun debate, I don't have a gun and I don't plan to take anyones gun away from them.
But then, there’s Cassie. As I write her stories Cassie is definitely the ‘director’ and tells me what to write. Cassie is an excellent shot with most types of guns. In one story she gets a very small, very light handgun. Now, ever since I wrote the story, I’ve entertained the idea of getting a very small, very light handgun. Come on, who's in control here?
What I want to know is, is this a resurgence of my childhood interest or something Cassie’s trying to talk me into. If I had the money to see one, I think Cassie and I could keep a shrink busy.
